PoliticsBan Cattle Grazing, Fayose Tells Govs by Movic1(op): 5:33pm On May 24, 2016
Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Ayo Fayose, has called on his colleagues across the country to ban cattle grazing in their states as a step to stop the incessant killings of farmers by atrocious herdsmen.
The Special Assistant to the Governor on Public Communication and New Media, Mr. Lere Olayinka, said this while speaking on Rave F.M, Osogbo during a programme, Frank Talk, monitored by our correspondent on Tuesday.

Fayose had on Monday banned cattle grazing in Ekiti State following the attack on Oke Ako community in Ikole Local Government Area of the state where two persons were killed and others injured by suspected herdsmen.
The governor’s aide said President Muhammadu Buhari, who was elected by Nigerians to protect their lives and property was doing nothing to protect the defenceless people from frequent attacks by the rampaging herdsmen, who were his kinsmen.
He said, “The people are angry because the person elected to secure their lives is keeping quiet and taking side with these Fulani criminals, I don’t want to call them herdsmen. Herdsmen to my mind do not carry Ak-47.
“These people are another version of Boko Haram that should be tackled headlong. We saw the Agatu killings and we don’t need to wait till they kill over 400 people before we act. That was why we took this step (banning cattle grazing) in Ekiti. I want to believe other governors will emulate this.”
Virtually all those who called during the programme urged governors especially those in the southern part of the country to emulate Fayose to liberate their people from the fear of herdsmen.
One of the callers, Femi Adetunji, commended Fayose for taken the step, saying this would stop his people from being constantly terrorized by the herdsmen.
Another caller from Moro, Vincent Olufemi and Michael Folayan also condemned the activities of the herdsmen and called on other governors to follow Fayose in this direction.
Some of the callers said they never agreed with Fayose on any issue before the ban but expressed their support for him on the new policy.

IBADAN?

Ibadan is largely unsafe. I'm tired. You're not safe at home, at work , on the streets, everywhere. People who have met me know I don't have a lifestyle that exposes me to things like this.

A very good business mentor and owner of GTIN motors (MR Chris) in ibadan was shot dead and his car stolen around Oluyole area of Ibadan on Monday while returning from work. This man fully relocated from Germany 2 years ago to start GTIN motors in Nigeria and now he's dead.

A very rich man, deals in Luxury cars. He should have just stayed back there. If you are abroad and govt is telling you to come back and establish a business here, tell them to provide security first

Do you mean the same Iyangaku GRA where most political assassination in Ibadan happened is one of the most secure areas? It can't be. I schooled in the GRA and I cannot count the number of assassinations and failed attempts that were carried out during that time.

Of recent, Bola Amole, the owner of BIMS African Food Store UK was killed there.

________
Alalubosa GRA

Don't remind me! I lost a cousin who's a week older than me to those boys who were trying to rob him at gun point inside the estate about 12 years ago.
I also lost a friend there too by Alalubosa river which is the escape route.

Same thing with NIHORT, Jericho, Onireke GRA, Aleshinloye, Forestry. Those areas are just too silent which makes it easy for those boys to operate.
_______
Bodija Estate

I can only ask which Bodija is it. Is it Bola Iges? Or Sunday Alalades? Or where Akala's driver was shot dead? Or the regular Kara Mayhem? Or where Mrs Adesiyan (Wife of the Police Affairs Minister) was abducted? Or where a family of 3 who just relocated to Nigeria after 18 years sojourn in Canada were burnt to death few weeks after arriving motherland?

Apologies.. but AriseKola was a big time tout who profited from the Abacha regime if you know the history of how he became rich. Asides him having Major guns, major Jazz and Major money to hire major touts, he is alsi protected by Nigeria Police etc..

I will delete this post later.

People like Fele, Sunday Igbowo work with political giants o.. you can't pay them

Igbowo works with Ladoja

Do you know the place they call Koto? It's in Mokola. Find out what they do there.

I know Ibadan like the back of my hand. A police station is at Mokola directly in front of Sabo where 90% of stolen items are sold. APete is known for cult activities and robbery. Mokola is known for same (Ask about Koto boys )

This last one, I was coming from the mall at Sango, drove through General gas and was heading to a house just before Dizenghoff. I got to the gate of the house I was going to, parked and as I was stepping out, the boys came on a bike and the whole shebang happened around 8pm.

There are also guys that touch the wall of your house and everyone sleeps off. Confirmed Jazz.

We also have car snatches and the likes.
What will i do with this long speech? If ibadan is not safe for U, Pack your bags and leave huh Simple as APC or sorry ABC ..

Dude ibadan is a slum no matter how many pictures you posted to try and change that outlook. Anyone can go and take pictures of a decent housing in the area, what people look at is the overall outlook.

Infact, the fact a video meant to celebrate Ibadan and the best the musician could get is similar to image we know ibadan for says alot.

there is nothing in ibadan, I have been to ibadan before so you will not tell me about the city.
It is an unorganised city with many ancient houses that looks like it wanna collapse, rusted zincs, dusty roads, and there are many slums in it.
Akure is even managable than ibadan.
Ibadan is popular mainly because it was the capital of the western region.
You have been there or you pass through ibadan when travelling from Lagos to onitsha or aba. Clarification pls!
