New Drama Alert!!


You know I always keep it 100 here...lol..So here comes a new drama (actually a saguek) and it's rolling out after Shine or Go Crazy...

The drama is called [size=16pt]SPLENDID POLITICS (HWAJUNG)[/size]


It's starring Cha Seung Won and from what I see he's a really handsome popular actor...I'm looking forward to this. Because I'm saguek-freakish like that.

It's supposedly about the usual palace politics - hence the name. A princess is in the center of this drama---apparently she loses her brother and her claim to her throne thanks to a mean step brother, who happens to be Cha Seung Won??


I don't know much details but it's coming up April 13.

I'm still hooked on Shine or Go Crazy. Can't believe I've never seen/heard of Jang Hyuk before now. I need to do a post about him soon on my blog. He was impressive in Chuno, just finished that. I also saw his movie on Youtube just a day ago, titled The Client. I have to go watch Fated to Love You because I hear he killed it there.


I wonder how this Hwajung drama will turn out? That Cha guy's moustache though...

Things you find in most K dramas.

1) There is always that tent bar where they drink Soju alongside fish cakes and Blood Sausage soup. plus sizzling pork belly wrapped in lettuce in restaurants.

2) The Soju parties often lead to a noraebang (karaoke)

3) There is always that eating scene with sticky rice in a small bowl and lots of side dishes.

4) In most family dramas, there is a grandmother or grandfather.

5) Cute couples celebrating 100 days anniversary with couple Tees, couple rings etc.

6) The other characters who aren't leads, but you've just got to love them as they make a drama more fun - Healer's Ahjumma, Eunuch in Moon Embracing the Sun.

7) The other couple who you ship ever so faithfully throughout the drama. They might end up together- So Yi Jung and Cho Ga Eul in Boys over flowers, JunHo and Sol in Discovery of romance - and they might not- Wang Yu and Yon Feisu in Empress Ki.

In saeguks, there is always that prime minister/ regent trying to take power from the king.
9) The Queen/ Dowager/ Concubine who wants to secure her place and wants more power.

10) Fun expressions like Aigoo, eottoke, oppa, sunbae, ahjumma, ahjussi, Ya! Aish! Chincha, deabak etc.
