[b]Showing gratitude to people who added value to your life should be something more than just muttering”thanks” and walking your way out. Of course, there is nothing wrong throwing “thank you” to people who assisted you with some tasks, but is that all you ‘ve got to say as a sign of gratitude? There is more to do than just that. I’m gonna take you to a trip to showing gratitude in six simple fundamental steps. Hope you ‘re ready, let’s go down. To constantly and consciously live in sense of gratitude involves a lot more than your automatic and emotionless voice of thanks to people who show kindness to you. Gratitude is the an act and feeling of being appreciative or thankful from your inner mind. To develop this sense of conscious state of gratitude, go through these steps below, and put them to practice. Step-1: Stop Complaining Stop wasting your useful time thinking and talking about negative things. Instead of complaining, try to focus on something worth doing and get busy. An idle mind is the devils workshop you know. Let the pasts go, and face the next thing on your list. Just make sure you learn from every mistake you made. Tip#2: Be Conscious of your conscience Try not to be bodily present and absently minded. Take charge of every thought being developed in your inner man at any point in time. When those negative thoughts strike telling you things like; I can’t do this, why did you have to do this, you have done the worse, etc, say no and replace them with productive thoughts. admire the good things you have accomplished and be grateful for them. Tip#3: Judge Not! My people have a saying that when you point one finger at someone, the rest of your three fingers points back at you. You are not in same shoes with the person you are judging, and thus will definitely be in a different condition than theirs. Stop Judging so you wan’t be judged! It is always easy to say things like..If this was me…I will…do heaven and earth. But it’s not you, and may never be you. My friend why don’t you mind your business? Tip#4: Encourage the “goods” in others When people around you do something good, encourage them and be happy. Who knows? Same way they will encourage the positives in you. Alternatively when people around you are experiencing difficulties or struggling, point out all the positive things about them. Tell them exactly why you are grateful for them and their presence in your life. Life is short and you know it. Tip#5: Surround yourself with people of like-minds Friendship is like diamond: ever glittering and surviving. Get the right minds, surround yourself with them and let them mirror your sense of gratitude. Are your friends positive, happy, thankful people that nurture and encourage you spiritually, emotionally and intellectually? Likewise, you ought to forever try to mirror and support their sense of gratitude. Tip#6: Learn to say a “cheerful thank you” This seems basic and customary courtesy extremely will demand it. However, stop and think about it; how many times, during a day, are you on the receiving end of a random act of kindness? Whether it’s holding the door or a package delivery, say thank you from your heart and truly mean it. Show the people around you that you are really grateful for what they’ve done for you[/b] |
