And why did they ask you to send to public provider for evaluation?

It is not supposed to be complicated. That is the insurance that I use.

Apply for DaK, you won't be required to pay the contribution until you get to Germany. I did mine when I was in Nigeria.

Try AOK. My advice is that you inform them upfront that you are not yet in Germany.

Why not contact the statutory or private health insurance companies in Germany (if you're 30 and above) and confirm.

As far as I know, you wont be charged for insurance until you arrive in Germany. You can sign an insurance contract from Nigeria but they will usually ask you to inform them when you arrive in Germany. That has been my experience.

That's a wise one speaking, u can consider Switzerland it is also free education just like Switzerland but u just needed a bank statement of 21k swiss francs,USD or euros

I went for my interview today. And these are what I have for those who are having theirs soon:

1. If you book for master’s category B you can conveniently appear with bachelor admission. They don’t care.

2. Make sure you are prepared to convince the visa officer why the programme? Why the school? Why Germany?

3. If you have a master’s already please don’t present it again if you are going for bachelor or master’s degrees.

4. Arrange all your documents

5. Print your appointment mail

6. Go there on time (before 7:30am)

7. The current visa fee is 32,000 naira

8. Don’t be tensed

One advice I will give folks is that Germany is not the only way to enter EU.

Try applying to Portugal, Belgium, France, Netherland or Spain. If you go to these embassies, you don't see as much students there, this makes the whole process faster. Application to Portugal might cost you 100-150EUR, patriots!!! you will get admission.

Like I always say, and will keep saying, Nigerians do not like to read most especially my Genz

For any country you will like to go, please try to read the whole thread from page 1.

Cos if you read of what does in the past have gone through, you will consider other options asides Germany to enter EU.

Yes all my documents was approved, but I don’t know maybe it because I submitted a week before the deadline thou.

I also got admissions in May last year. I enrolled and started following classes online. I was also paying semester fees accordingly, prayeing and waiting for embassy.
One of my classmates in category B did get appointment within two months of booking appointment but then it's 1/100 chance. You can be that 1.

Stay hopeful and patient while you do the needful.

If you re category B, the waiting period is over a year...grace can alter it but it's not guaranteed.
