realone18: Mine’s a Nov 11.11 order and stuck at the same spot. It’s a phone and I don’t even know if I should still be expecting it at this point considering the extended wait time. The post office has claimed they haven’t received it and if they did I’d have been notified. Update!!! I won’t be receiving the Phone as it’s declared content missing. ———— Does anyone have idea of how I can route the package via Speedaf instead of Nipost if I’m to order again? The only shipping option is “AliExpress Standard Shipping” Thanks Cc jboixxx

Josemariee: Clearly, this shows that Echoemporium doesn’t even know his priority as a businessman in handling a dispute. What does the '750k' topic have to do here? Attached is a conversation that shows he was ok with it. Hope he also informed you that he’s blocked me on Instagram. I’m waiting for your reply to see how you want to keep defending him with all these proofs instead of advising him to handle business the right way.

Technology Market / Re: Beware Of Echoemporium Electronics: Deceptive TV And Electronics Seller by Mrcalxy(m): 3:16pm On Feb 11 |
Josemariee: As I’ve stated earlier, I’m not a noob to the OLED display technology. This isn’t my first time buying a used TV, be it OLED, LED, QLED TV, etc. Your replies so far show that you’re trying to gaslight other viewers into believing that this is normal and I have decided not to indulge in your intentions of derailing this thread. The norms of a seller are to: 1. State his terms & conditions of service before taking money from the customers. 2. Accurately describe the conditions of the product before taking money from the customers. 3. Follow up on customer feedback. From the above, Echoemporium Electronics failed to meet any of the requirements and you choose to also play a blind side to that, so your effort to gaslight viewers is dead on arrival. If you have proof contradicting the above, kindly provide that. I am well aware that not all used TVs come in perfect condition, and as you can see in the conversation, I basically asked him to make known the full condition(every nitty gritty) of the TV, so I know what I am paying for (and this shouldn’t be so. A seller is the one that ought to provide a clear description on the condition of the product). There’s no way I’d have proceeded with the purchase if I knew that the TV already had all the stated underlying issues. Did Echoemporium also let you know that I suggested a solution to this problem by saying that I wouldn't mind paying more if he sold me a brand-new TV? In addition, if you are supportive of the mode of Echoemporium doing business, then it means that both of you are disingenuous and unethical, meaning no one should conduct business with such a fellow. Josemariee: Can you please highlight the ways?

Josemariee: Then I believe you’re not seeing things from a neutral standpoint. **************** Josemariee: Mrcalxy:Clearly, you missed where I already pointed this out as well as other issues. I’m not a noob to the world of OLED displays. Mind you, I’ve tried the pixel refresh option multiple times and there’s not even an inch of improvement. The panel is definitely failing already and needs replacement. As for vertical banding, there are varying tolerance levels and this isn’t one I’m willing to tolerate. If you and Echoemporium feel this isn’t an issue and is ok then it should cost him nothing to accept his TV back and sell to someone else. Another positive side for him is that prices have gone up from the date of purchase. |

Josemariee: Is it wrong for me to point out issues on a TV I received and I'm not satisfied with? Funny enough the indicators of a bad TV showed itself very quickly. You can clearly see that he chose not to respond to my complaints. Is that how business is done? 2 Likes

Josemariee: Clearly, this is an indicator that he repaired the TV and lied to me that he’s sending me a new replacement. Or do you have proof showing where he purchased a new LG C1 for 300k? 1 Like |

Josemariee: Let’s be clear on one thing, he never sent me a new unit. He sent the same old TV which he repaired and denied the fact. Here’s a conversation where I clearly noted to him again that I do not need a repaired TV, nor the same old TV - I'd prefer that he refunds my money back.

Technology Market / Re: Beware Of Echoemporium Electronics: Deceptive TV And Electronics Seller by Mrcalxy(m): 1:30pm On Feb 11 |
Josemariee: This is a false narrative! 1. The person who went to his shop is not an OLED TV user and can’t see all the errors as I would. 2. My guy confirmed that the TV was the same and was repaired. We pointed this out to Echoemporium and he blatantly denied it being the same old TV nor was it a repaired TV. 3. I requested that Echoemporium grant me a warranty on the TV considering that my guy already confirmed the TV to be a repaired TV and I can’t confirm what was repaired, also knowing fully well that most repair guys aren’t competent. Echoemporium denied again saying the TV is a NEW replacement and not the old TV. |
Technology Market / Re: Beware Of Echoemporium Electronics: Deceptive TV And Electronics Seller by Mrcalxy(m): 1:21pm On Feb 11 |
Josemariee: Before I sent the TV back to Echoemporium, I asked him to confirm that he has a new replacement TV on ground in his office and he said YES (I have a call recording to back this up). Only for the TV to arrive his end and he failed to send a replacement unit immediately. Why? Because he’s a liar. He came up with a bunch of different stories daily. You can go through the conversations.

Josemariee: Thanks josemariee for your response. Josemariee: I insisted on refund from the first delivery of a bad TV because I quickly detected that Echoemporium does not have integrity and shouldn’t be trusted but he held my refund hostage.

GIG receipts for both shipments sent to me. Picture 1 - First shipment of unresponsive TV Picture 2 - Replacement TV showing banding issues, dead pixels, panel gaps etc Also note that in both shipments, TV was never tested at GIG.

Technology Market / Beware Of Echoemporium Electronics: Deceptive TV And Electronics Seller by Mrcalxy(m): 9:22am On Feb 10 |
In today's digital age, the convenience of online shopping often comes with its own set of risks. Amidst the sea of legitimate businesses, lurks Echoemporium Electronics — a deceitful TV seller whose actions serve as a stark warning to potential buyers. It all began innocently enough on December 25, 2023, when Echoemporium Electronics reached out to me after I viewed their sponsored advertisement on Instagram. Intrigued by their offer of a foreign-used LG C1 TV, we engaged in negotiations and settled on a total amount of N675,000 naira. We discussed the specifications of the TV, its condition, and the total cost, which included an additional 45,000 naira for shipping via GIG logistics. Little did I know, this would mark the beginning of a harrowing ordeal. Upon the TV's arrival on December 30, 2023, my excitement quickly turned to dismay as I discovered it was faulty — devoid of both visual and audio capabilities. The shipping label described the item as "TV IN WOODEN CRATE (NOT TESTED)" and falsely declared its value at 100,000 naira, effectively absolving GIG of any responsibility for damages during transit. After much back and forth, Echoemporium begrudgingly agreed to take back the defective TV and send a replacement, assuring me they have another stock readily available to be sent as replacement immediately upon receipt of the defective TV — but not without attempting to shift blame and evade responsibility. Despite their assurances, days turned into weeks with no sign of a replacement; I was met with a series of broken promises, conflicting stories and deceitful tactics. Echoemporium spun a web of lies, fabricating excuses and shifting blame to avoid accountability. Despite confirming the TV's defectiveness upon receipt on January 8, 2024, Echoemporium failed to send a replacement immediately, as promised. Their initial assurance of a prompt replacement was met with daily discrepancies and mismatched stories, leaving me frustrated. As weeks passed without resolution, I made it clear that I no longer desired the TV and demanded a refund, which he declined to sending a refund. After much excuses and lies, Echoemporium Electronics then claimed the replacement TV was ready on January 19, 2024, I remained skeptical, insisting on confirmation that the “replacement” TV is another foreign used and not the faulty TV that was sent initially — emphasizing that I do not want a repaired TV. Despite all Echoemporium had made me pass through, he refused to foot the shipping bill. In a final attempt to salvage the situation, I agreed to shoulder 40% of the shipping fee, only to receive a poorly packaged TV on January 31, 2024, devoid of its original box, exhibiting numerous issues – from inconsistent panel gaps to dead pixels and vertical banding. You can access the video proof here as well as our WhatsApp conversation https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1-9dC_5O7Op07T4zA2aIVI8FT_vIWtSI3 Echoemporium's negligence was further evidenced by the shipping label, which failed to indicate proper testing of the TV before transit. Upon closer look, the TV bore clear signs of being the old, defective unit with issues aforementioned. Throughout this ordeal, Echoemporium's deceit and dishonesty were evident. Their failure to uphold their end of the agreement, coupled with their attempts to manipulate the situation, left me feeling frustrated and betrayed. Despite my efforts to resolve the matter amicably, Echoemporium's blatant negligence and disregard for customer satisfaction speaks volumes about their business practices. The CEO, Chinonso Emmanuel Egbuna, who I personally dealt with from the get go, is disingenuous and as well can be considered to be a fraud — is someone I’d advise to steer clear of if you cherish your resources and peace of mind. In conclusion, my experience with Echoemporium Electronics serves as a cautionary tale for anyone considering doing business with them. From their lack of accountability, deceits to their blatant disregard for customer welfare, Echoemporium Electronics epitomizes the dangers of online shopping. Let my story be a warning – steer clear of Echoemporium Electronics to avoid falling victim to their deceitful practices.
