If you are a neat freak and good at arranging, offer to do clean up services and re-arranging of homes, rooms, shops, offices. If you enjoy washing, then start a small laundry service with your neighbors and then expand.
There so many things you can do and would be amazed at how big it can become. Do not feel ashamed or shy about that which puts money in your pocket. There is dignity in labor and please be less concerned about what people will think or say as their opinion does not matter and will not put food on your table.

Never make verbal commitments regarding money, either to be paid or received. Let there be some written evidence, either by a simple text, chat or email and make sure it is acknowledged. Always have some evidence to back you up. People change when it comes to money matters.

Be undeniably good at what you do. No marketing effort or social media buzzword can be a substitute for that. Be exceptional!

To survive this economic down turn, you have to streamline your costs to the barest minimum in both business and personal finance. Only bare necessities should be given priority.

Think deep, look inward and find how to create solution to a human endeavor you make a mission of. I have come to realize that a lot of the big businesses and billionaires out there were more interested in, and went after proffering solutions, then multi billions followed them.

Failures and set back are part of the business journey, it is bound to happen. The difference is to not dwell on it but rather learn from it, dust yourself up and have another go at it!

Many bosses have this attitude that anyone is replaceable easily like gloves, that they can hire someone even better. They are fooling themselves, and do disservice to their company. Making employees feel valued and APPRECIATED is the best thing you can do every day.

Learn to diversify as nothing is cast in stone. If your core business area is not yielding enough returns, you can research and add some other items or services to what you are already offering. There is no rule to what you can do or not do in business, so far you are keeping afloat and progressing.

When you intend to sell a product or service, ensure you have extensive knowledge of it so as to be convincing to would be clients enough to close a sale.

Looking good brings good business. The difference between completing that sale and signing a contract depends largely on how would be clients perceive our look/presentation.

The golden rule for every business is this: Put yourself in your customer’s place then make decisions and take actions from that standpoint.

A business absolutely devoted to quality service will have only one worry about profits....they will be embarrassingly large!

People don't leave bad jobs. They leave because of bad bosses, poor management, who do not appreciate their value. You can't expect to earn your employees' loyalty if you keep treating them poorly. Once people don’t feel valued or appreciated, they may leave in spite of the money or perks.

The fastest way to destroy a company is to stop listening and keep closing the door on employees who are trying to do the best for the company. Never push loyal employees to the point they no longer care!

How can there be productivity in the midst of so much insecurity? Job security is very key in getting the best out of your staff and retaining their loyalty as well. Your staff turn over level must be at the minimum barring competency issue from staff themselves.
