Tension is high in Enugu following a reported bomb explosion at a polling unit at the WTC Primary School, Enugu, Saturday morning. WTC Primary School is located at Enugu North, one of the municipal local government areas in the Coal City State. DAILY POST learnt that the first explosion went off Friday night. Our correspondent, who is at the scene of the incident, reports that the police anti-bomb unit just carried out two controlled explosions. The latest controlled explosion was carried out around 9:05 am, few minutes after the Enugu Police Commissioner, Dan Bature, arrived the scene. Although journalists are still unable to gain entrance to exact spot, a source said the bomb was laden in a Honda Jeep. The situation has created panic in the area as voters were seen running helter-skelter. |

Nigerians will start arguing blindly now. In a contest of what seems to be predicated on argumentum ad ignorantia. I think what we must understand is that the federal government allocation to states like Rivers, Lagos and Akwa Ibom are sometimes three times more than what other states take home every month. I will simply be obeying the law of logic when I say, the governors with more resources do more, or so it appears. Again, since it is a poll, popularity of these political actors complemented with the population of their various states; plays a chief role. Howbeit, I still believe APC governors are by far more efficient when compared with their PDP counterparts. To my mind, they cannot just stop depending on the national milk from the crest fallen brest of their mother, FG. Hence, their juvenile state of poor performance. 7 Likes |

Nigerians n our quick way of pronouncing judgements. Most people ranting about d fallen standards of d nation's education sector don't even have five credits in WEAC. I still believe there is no way 5000 students will fail d bar exams. Any right thinking person would know that. Not mediocres. 'Children of nowadays don't read', Oga show us ur WEAC result. Atleast they r qualified to take d exams. |
