I heard that Tinubu has been depressed since Trump refused to invite him. Both him and his vice had to rubn away to attend irrelevant things outside Nigeria. They must have watched everything on TV with sadness and bitterness🤣🤣 |
Tsarbomba:Lol, Nigeria has never been in the same league with Egypt. You can't have a very strong enemy like Israel without you atleast making some efforts to catch up. Even when Nigeria fought Biafra as far back as 1967 to 1970, it was Egyptian pilots that Nigeria hired as mercenaries. Nigeria vs Biafra war is the only real war Nigeria has fought. Biafrans even gave Nigeria a bloody nose until Nigeria called upon Britain, Egypt, Russia, Cameroon, Syria, Chad, and Niger for help. Nigeria had to deploy all these armada of foreign countries to fight against Biafra that was blockaded and had no arms !!! Since 1970, Nigerian troops has only participated in peace keeping missions in Liberia and Seara Leone as well as small border skirmishes with Cameroon over Bakassi peninsula. Can you contrast that with Egypt that has continued to play catch up with Israel, a very strong country? Egypt will route Nigeria within 24 hours. They will first jam your airspace, and destroy your bases before you will even know what is going on. You can't even defeat ragtag terrorists but it's Egypt you think you can fight with 🤣🤣 |
Murketeer:Lol, you don't judge whether a country is rich or poor by the size of its economy. Large population and mineral resources can make a country to have a large economy yet such country can still be very poor. Classic example is Nigeria. It was the largest economy in Africa some years ago but we are no where among the richest in terms of GDP per capita. India is among the largest economies in the world due to its large population yet it's no where among the richest. Luxembourg is among the richest yet has some if the smallest economies. |
I didn't even see your post when I made mine yet it's as if they're cloned! Look at the flawed accusations made by a country's supposed anti graft agency! Anyone who is educated and has common sense will easily see how ridiculous it sounds. They were even trying to use emotion to counter logical public outrage. I'm really sorry seeing the shameful level Nigeria is still operating. GloriousGbola: |
"Preliminary investigations showed that Ikechukwu was involved in coding and online medical supplies of doubtful legitimacy. Two laptops, ipads, several recording devices were recovered from his apartment and his involvement in internet fraud is already established. Though currently in police custody owing to the murderous dimension of his case, the Commission will surely bring him to trial" Since when did coding and online medical supplies become a criminal activity? How is owning two laptops and iPad amount to criminal activity? How can a country's supposed anti graft agency use the terms alleged, suspected, confirmed and established criminal to describe a suspect who is already known to be a practicing doctor? Are they now the prosecutor and jury at the same time? Nothing was said about the modus operandi of scaling fence at the odd hours which the whole argument has been about all these while. The Dr. shouldn't hesitate to hire reputable SANs to defend him in court and they should ensure the case is followed by all Nigerians. We are in a banana Republic! |
Rubbish comparison! All the houses in Florence have toilets and plumbing inside but 90% of those in ibadan do not have. Stop comparing apples with oranges. |
You're not making sense and worse still you're using Igbo man to do your analogy. Igbos sell cheapest in Nigeria because they're smart enough to devise ways of getting their supplies cheaper and using marginal profit/mass sales to break even. The Hausas are not known to sell cheap at all. It's foolishness to compare a barrow seller that doesn't pay shop rent, doesn't pay house rent, doesn't pay any form of tax because they're mobile and doesn't even pay for transportation to compare with those that do all that. The average aboki barrow seller adds very little or nothing to the economy. Bragging about bringing tomatoes, onions or livestock to the South is another foolishness. If your farmers don't get their farm produce down South immediately after harvest, the perishables will be rotten and they will go hungry. There is enough land even in the East to grow all these things and also ranch animals. There is nothing grown in the North that can't be planted in the East. Educationalserv: |
See country, thank God we don't really have enemies otherwise they can easily stroll into that villa one day and kidnapp the president. Everyone is neck deep stealing that no one bothers to do their primary tasks anymore. |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:Why should Americans vote against it? It's certainly in their national interests and also 100% logical. The American government is justified to ban Tiktok, given all the points listed. United States is not too stupid in the name of woke, like Europe. They know when to draw the line especially when it affects them their future. China won't tolerate it if the reverse is the case, so why do you want US to accept it ![]() |
iamoyindamola:Lol, this one is subtly encouraging and defending crime because the perpetrator is a fellow yoruba. Same way they supported the iragbiji rogue despite all his criminalities. SMH. |
I knew the rapist was going to be from the skull mining region of Nigeria. Nairaland and pettiness, because the culprit is yoruba, they used the headline "Nigerian" but let it be an Igbo person and they will use his full names as the headlines. Disgusting!!! |
djon78:They are all driven by hate and bigotry. Lagos demolition of Landmark assets has become a blessing in disguise. Many people outside Lagos never knew of Landmark until they decided to destroy his assets, and the man was smart enough to give it massive publicity. The news went viral across Nigeria and beyond. It immediately cast Lagos as a dangerous place to invest and the Landmark brand became massively popular. He has used that popularity and goodwill to grow his brand massively. Whatever he lost in Lagos, he has gained back ten fold! |
Shut up your ewedu mouth, you be mumu. Landmark has already secured nice places in Rivers and Enugu. Anambra beach is there in Anambra and Oguta is there in Imo also waiting for him. He has secured in Gambia too. But you think this rubbish land tussle will affect him? FYI, it's the community and the state that loses, not Landmark because they've got lots of alternative options! Thank God this is happening at the preliminary stage when he hasn't invested a dime. He will simply walk away and leave them to chop their beach. It's paining you that Landmark has ignored your toxic region to be investing everywhere else, awon accommodators🤣🤣 PressMyButton: |
dettolgel:Who hasn't the man threatened? Which elite pass Dangote? Do you know what Dangote has seen so far? He is so greedy and covetous that even El Rufai that fought for him was betrayed. You think their elite are not worried that he is fast pocketing Nigeria the same way he pocketed Lagos. Except North thinks that Igbos won't form alliance with them, that's when they will give up knowing they can't do it alone. |
dettolgel:He is certainly going back to iragbiji by fire by force! If he thinks he can snatch it and run again, then he is joking. Read the room bro, the entire north is gradually coming for his jugular and all that remains is a gang up with Igbos and it's game over for the iragbiji man. They claim to be smart but they don't know anything. 2027 is not too far!!! |
Occurstaem:You lie!!! Yoruba land is the most backwards and stagnated region in Nigeria. A region where many still live in mud houses without toilets, and derelict rusted roof dungeons. Not even North East is that bad! You guys should leave Lagos, Nigeria's economic capital and face your stunted region where skull mining is now the most popular vocation. |
TimeTraveller:Don't worry, that's why Igbos are going to collabo with North to send the old and wicked bastard back to iragbiji. Primitive skull miners that know nothing about good governance. |
melodyogonna:Hmnn. They mentioned 4 states in Nigeria where they're going to invest. They've mentioned Rivers, now Enugu. I hope Oguta lake in Imo state is among the remaining 2 states. |
Very childish rants from the child in adult body called Reno. They're already shitting in their boxers that North and Igbos are going to form a formidable alliance. The same fools crying over the impending alliance did the same to unseat Jonathan. Fools!!! |
Godwin4444:You're the insincere one yet calling another person insincere. The op asked politician who can be trusted? He said Peter Obi. Every Nigerian knows he is the only governor to be impeached because he refused to bribe & insisted on following due process despite being a governor. Obi rejected lands, rejected gratuity and other pecks! Obi is perhaps the only governor that ruled a state in Nigeria for 8 years and yet accounted for every penny and after digging and digging, not a single dirt was found on him! Obi is almost a saint despite being a politician, a rare trait you can't find in Nigeria. However, you choose a drug lord, a man who sold drugs in the streets of Chicago and was arrested, he had to abandon almost half a million dollars as plea bargain. This same man has no known identity. The school he claimed to graduate from was not even in existence. He has been a godfather supporting corruption and all manner of evil for selfish interests. That's the man you choose to trust?? You see how tribalism can make one to appear extremely foolish? Between Igbos and Yorubas, who are the insincere ones now ![]() Yet you called another person insincere 🤮🤮 |
Whatever, the fact is that North can't singlehandedly unseat Tinubu, they will need full colabo with Igbos to achieve that. Though Tinubu's hate against Igbos will make the alliance easy but other factors are also involved. |
Lol, I like the way he is insulting Wike publicly. The same way Wike used to insult others, now they're ridiculing him. Even Tinubu is also insulted too. |
If this man should return after 2027, whether by rigging or otherwise, after crushing North like this, then I will accept he is the jagaban indeed, but if he is removed like Jonathan, then he is a fool. |
yemre:Lol, you’re confusing yourself. Igboland has existed for centuries before the British arrived. Before 1914, there was nothing like south south, and nothing like Rivers state. Ethnicity and tribes has nothing to do with regions or states created for political reasons. The last Ohanaeze president before the late Iwuanyawu was from Delta state, Ralf Uwaechue. Is Delta state not in your so-called south south? One of the greatest Biafran soldiers ever was Air raid Joe Achuzie, he is from present day Delta state. Aside from Ikwere, there are other Igbo tribes in Rivers state including the Asa, Ndoni, Etche, Ogba, Egbema etc. It was the turn of Rivers state to produce Ohanaeze president and thus Uche was elected based on that. Lastly, aside the 5 South east states, there are native Igbos in the following states: 1. Delta. 2. Edo. 3. Rivers. 4. Bayelsa. 5. Benue. 6. Kogi. 7. Akwa Ibom. 8. Cross river. Are you surprised to realize that there are Igbos in all the so-called south south states😂😂. There are also Igbos in 2 northern states😂😂. Igbos are native to a total of 13 states out of Nigeria’s 36 states. |
Zionmdde:I’m talking about Nigerians generally, not you. Yes, I’ve been off the grid totally since I installed my solar. It carries everything in my home except AC. Fans, fridge, freezer, solar iron, blender, washing machine etc. It carries all. Even during rainy season there are no issues, you only mind your usage of appliances. Remember during rainy season freezers get chilled faster and also retains ice, same with fan that won’t need much pressure to rotate since air is less dense at this time. Also, your panels would be free of dust thus maximizing solar charge input. It’s only during the “7 days” around June/July that you will be affected. My brother, any home or business that ain’t using solar in Nigeria aren’t smart. Except they can’t afford it. |
MemphitzDgreat1:No, I don’t know how much it would cost now that inflation is over the roof. |
Zionmdde:Investing in solar is one of the best investments anyone can make in Nigeria. If you’re living in Nigeria with all these solar energy wasting yet you don’t have solar, then that person isn’t smart at all. I have been using solar since 2018 at my home. I upgraded in 2021 to tubular batteries and since then it has been serving perfectly. I only add distilled water to it periodically. Nigerians aren’t as smart as they assume they are. If it’s Oyibo that lives in this country with all the sun and low grid supply, every single house would have been covered with solar panels. |
Jihardists again? |
The evil they did to Imo State by denying them this man will be told for generations to come. Whatever Abians are enjoying today under Alex Ottih, or Enugu under Peter Mbah, is what Imo State would have enjoyed & heaven knows how far the state would have gone now. The just shall live by faith! |
sweetkev:Can you read?? He isn’t the one budgeting or spending, investors are the ones bringing in the money and also spending it themselves. Tinubu is the one responsible for Nigeria’s current decay, stop transferring your aggression to another person. |
lailo:He is doing better than most of your governors in the skull mining region. Ordinary basic things like toilets have remained rocket science to you guys and that’s why you all still practice open defecation in 2024 while living in mud houses. |
chatinent:Meaning? Water is paid for in every reasonable country where portable water is reticulated to people’s homes. Even the ones you buy in gallons or tankers, don’t you pay for it? Na wa o. I don’t support Mba but if all these policies are carried out effectively, he would turn out a great achiever. |
