Apple is highly respected so even if they come last on certain technological innovations, they always make their buyers feel like they are working to give them a very steady tech rather than rush into market like the android guys do.

I guess with all the rumors we've heard so far, the iPhone 12 series doesn't have that much to offer asides 5G and a potentially high refresh rate screen. If one is in desperate need of an upgrade, let's say from an iPhone 6,7 or even 8, then I recommend they get the iPhone 11 pro.
