I was amazed to see in a foreign online news forum where that infamous statement was pasted and some Germans and other foreign nationals were coming down hard on Buhari for that statement.
I was then bemused and surprised when an abooki found his way to that forum and started attacking iPobs, that he is sure they are laughing at Buhari.

This is not about Buhari's blunder... but what GEJ would've done better to stem the depletion of the reserves. You did suggest what he would've done to boost the reserves. Then why did he not implement a policy to stop the reserves from being depleted in the first place?.. when conditions were favourable? Are you suggesting his eyes get clear only when in a crisis?

I guess... the quicker GEJ would've appointed his ministers... the quicker they would have been dipping their hands into the reserves and that would mean we would've been worse off.
