Bonny does not have the largest gas reserves in Africa . What gives it an edge is it's strategic locations close to the atlantic ocean. So most coys like NLNG has it's gas processing plant at Bonny and use the island as a terminal point to export gas to Europe

When Wike was governor many of the Permanent Secretaries he worked with were those who have exceeded the 60years age limit. Because he refused to promote Rivers State civil servants for 8years, He subsequently came up with a mischievous and archiac policy of given contract to Permanent Secretaries who have exceeded 60years. So must of the Permanent Secretaries during his era were those that ought to have proceeded on retirement.

Same thing also applies to Tinubu who has kept the inspector General of Police notwithstanding that he has exceeded his service years of 35years and the 60years benchmatch age limit.

Tell me why there won't be low morale in the Civil service when politicians keep circumventing roles and given special privileges to their preferred cronnies.
