Richest States In Nigeria 2016 - I believe that most of you where aware of the fact that i posted an article regarding the Richest States In Nigeria 2015 By GDP and today i have decided to make a similar post titled Richest States in Nigeria 2016. But make no mistake about it that some of the riches states last year, still maintained their various positions this year. States like Lagos still maintained their position based on the fact that they are the Commercial hub of the Nation. Interms of revenue, they generate the highest. In terms of tax to the federal government account, they remit the highest. flag

1. Lagos State

This is called the America of Nigeria. Lagos to Nigeria, is what New York City is to America. Many people do view city as the America of our Nation. Lagos state do offer equal opportunities to both the rich and the poor. As at last year, , the GDP is $33.67 billion. It is the richest state in Nigeria at the GDP rate.

But as it stands now, the current GDP OF Lagos State stands at US$91,000

2. Rivers State

This state was and is still the second best state in Nigeria in terms of GDP. It was second last year and has retained same position this year. Last year, Business Day newspaper, reported that Rivers State is the fastest growing state in the country. As at last year, the Rivers State GDP stood at $21.07 billion. With this score, they where placed second most richest state in Nigeria 2015

A report conducted by our team showed that Rivers State is one of the few states in Nigeria with the biggest business based on the influx of population into the country. The River state GDP for the $21.07 billion .

3. Delta State

Last year they where 3rd and this year have done nothing to improve that pegging order. Delta State GDP stood at $16.75 billion last year and still maintained same this year. No doubt, we all know why they are 3rd on the list. This is so because of the Rich Natural resources they have with them. The GDP of Delta State is stands at $16.75 billion .

Nigerian Army Short Service Combatant 2016 Recruitment: Both civilians and serving military personnel can also apply.

Interested applicant for the Nigerian Army Short Service Combatant 2016 Recruitment must have the following criteria.

Applicant must be a Nigerian citizens by birth as written in the Federal Republic of Nigeria constitution.
Applicant must be between the ages of 24 and 29 years by October 2016 for both male and female
Applicant must be medically, mentally and physically fit according to NA Standards.
Candidate applying must be recommended by at least 2 recognizable referees who must attest to the applicant’s character and integrity. The referees ranks must not be anything less than Serving military personnel commanding officers. Any referee civilian could be recommended by a Local Government Chairman/Secretary or an officer of the Armed Forces not below the rank of a Lieutenant Colonel and equivalent or an Assistant Commissioner of Police and above who must hail from the state of the applicant. Passport photographs of referees must be affixed to the letter of attestation.
Letter of Attestation from their former institutions must be submitted
The ideal height of candidates must be in the range of least 1.68m (for male) and 1.65m (for female) in height.
Applicant must not have been convicted by any court of law. Military personnel must be free from any disciplinary case (This is to be endorsed by the Commanding Officer/Commander).
Applicant must possess at least a first degree of not less than Second Class Lower Division or HND of not less than Lower Credit in the arts, sciences or humanities from any recognized institution of learning.
Applicant must possess a valid birth certificate endorsed by the National Population Commission, Hospital or Local Government Council or valid age declaration.
Applicant must present a valid certificate of state of origin.
Applicants (less serving members of the Armed Forces) must possess NYSC discharge certificate or a valid exemption as the case may be.Note: Only academic credentials obtained from 2011 to date will be considered.

Here are the conditions:

SSC will be granted for 10 years. Six years will be on active list renewable thereafter for a period up to 3 years. No extension is allowed after the ninth year of commission except on conversion to Regular Combatant where applicable.
Officer cadets who successfully complete the military training shall be granted the rank of Second Lieutenant.
Conversion to regular commission is not automatic. It is based on availability of vacancy and other criteria that are or will be in force from time to time.
All graduating officer cadets must sign an acceptance on the terms and conditions governing the Short Service Combatant Commission before they are granted commission into the Nigerian Army.
The reasonable period of service will be based on the date of commencement of cadet training of both civilian and military personnel entrants.

Process for NYSC Batch A 2016 online registration requirements :
Here are the methods to follow and as a prospective corp member you are advised to follow the instruction strictly and quickly!!!
1.A. Functional email address is a must have for all the prospective corp members, and they all must also have a valid and registered Nigerian phone number, so that it will b very easy and to register

2.Graduates from the Nigerian university are expected to use their Jamb registration number and School Matriculation number for the registration.

3.Graduates from Nigerian university are advised to check their name in the senate list ( here) first, so if your name is there it means the senate of your school has approved your name and all the criteria have

5. Regarding the Foreign Trained potential Corps Members from the likes of Ghana, Benin Republic must obtain letters of Verification and upload them for mobilization. According to reports Foreign Trained Prospective Corps Members are expected to Goto the NYSC Online Registration Portal to complete their registration and these Documents;

First university degree or HND certificate. Complete official transcription of the First Degree or HND course. Mark sheet (for Indian universities only) O’level certificate i.e WASC, GCE, SSCE, NECO, IGCE GCSE, high school diploma for those schooled in USA e.t.c.
Candidates must obtain credit in not less than five(5) subjects (including English and mathematics) in not less than two(2) sittings.

International Traveling Passport showing Date of departure for the course of study. ( Please note that you must present the originals of the above documents during verification at orientation camp) Letters of verification for graduates of institutions in Ghana, Benin Republic and any other institution whose accreditation is in doubt.

Graduates with dual nationality are required to upload and produce, for verification both international passports.

Graduated students of universities around ECOWAS states and Cameroon are asked to upload and bring forth Residence permit for the time duration of their study so as to know more information about requirement for Foreign trained

6. All Prospective Corps Member (PCM) graduated from Non-English speaking countries are required to get their certificated and transcript translated to English themselves before uploading it online for NYSC Batch A 2016 Registration and Requirements

7. All potential Corps Member who graduated from Medicine, Pharmacy and Medical Laboratory Science are expected to upload the following certificate Nigerian Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (NMDCN) for Medical Students Pharmacist Council of Nigeria (PCN) for pharmacy students
