hi dear, does it mean if a state is not sponsoring an occupattion one cant apply for pr? cs i want to understand ..ok a state has to be sponsoring occupations under the csol?? how do i check the state lists please... i dont want to do anythg botany related again thats why. pls reply or can i get ur contact email to chat beter with u.

Please I need to ask this questions, I have a BSc in Biochemistry but have really shifted to ICT (Telecommunications) and the occupation on the SOL falls under Engineers Australia as the assessment body (Telecommunications Network Engineer), how possible is it for me to get assessed by the body and will my BSc still help me claim points despite it being a non-engineering degree, assuming I have upto 4yrs experience in the field? Or does the assessment require an Engineering degree or diploma as a criterion (must it be only an engineering degree)?...I have professional training in both Telecom and CCNA, A+.

My bad, thought TPP is Transition to Professional Practice program for Nurses. But why go through a TPP pathaway that he will end up spending 4yrs for BSc Nursing when he can go through Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Nursing to Bsc Nursing which will take 3 to 3 1/2 years to conclude?

Plus if he goes through the Advanced Diploma pathway, he can stop after the Advanced Diploma (2yrs) and start working. Please ask him to take cover and run for his life.

Just as ur occupation 234111 indicates Skill Level 1 : Occupations at Skill Level 1 have a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification. At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification. In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification. i know u hav a degree or mayb wit msc, but where u assessed wit d five yrs experince?

Also, i saw some few occupation i might qualify with my HND as they require associate degree or Advance diploma or diploma wit 3yrs relevant experience. But according to the details on anzsco these occupations ar not eligible for 189, and fewer or no states sponsors them. They appear only on CSOL

You will get 10points if you were assessed as equivalent to Engineering Associate either with your ND/HND. You could use your ND provided there would be more years of experience to claim.

Nice one. Wondered where u disappeared to ..lol. No lele we go jam for melbourne soon by God's grace. How much did u pay in total for IOM? Mine is a family of 3 and the rate is as high as N670k for emirates for a normal booking.

Please don't try using your ND alone no matter your years of work experience. I once made that mistake through Vetassess by trying to assess myself as a Civil Engineering Technician using only my ND without including my B.Tech because i felt ND was enough and would give me more post study work exp points...vetassess unfortunately didn't equate my ND to an Australian Diploma and said i don't meet the minimum education criteria.

My advice is to go through Vetassess and apply with both your ND & HND.
