This is the promise of the LORD to Israel. He said he will gather us from all the land of the heathen where we have gone, the LORD says he will gather us on every side and bring us back to our own land, back to the garden of Eden, the glory of all lands.

The LORD says that when he regathers us he will make us one nation in the land, the dichotomy that came between Israel and Judah will be erased, no more southern or northern kingdom, they shall become one.

We shall no longer defile ourselves with idolatrous things, we shall no more transgress against the LORD. The LORD says he will cleanse us, and we shall be his people and he will be our God

The LORD says that David shall be our king. David will reign over us, the Anointed of the LORD. The LORD has promised that he will give us a new heart and we shall work in his judgments and statutes, now and forever.

The LORD says we shall dwell in the LANs that he has given to Jacob his servant, where our fathers dwelt, we shaklndwell in that land, we and our children, we shall dwell there forever including our children's children.

See the progression of these verses. This is the sacking of Jerusalem, it happened in 70AD. Judah was dispersed to all the nations of the earth to become downtrodden, and trodden by everyone, that period is not over yet.

What Paul is saying here is that as certain as it is that Jesus Christ died once for all, so also once a man dies, judgment follows. And the place of judgment is under the sun, REINCARNATION.
