Hi, I am new here and I am currently living in England and will be flying to nigeria within the next few months in order to perform some "Rituals" or whatever they are called, someone had helped my friend when she last went, but the person is dead. David Mark,former senate president, says no governor can compete with Nyesom Wike, governor of Rivers state.
Mark said this on Tuesday while commissioning Brick House and the chapel at government house, Port Harcourt.
Both projects were renovated by the administration of Wike.
“I was wondering why the governor called me to commission this Brick house, but through his remarks, I have been able to put two and two together,” he said.
“He said the house was completely abandoned, and for those of you who remember Major Mark. When I was here, I was chairman of abandoned property implementation committee.
“So I think it is appropriate that I am the one to commission this Brick House.
“This is not my first visit to commission projects in Rivers state. I was here less than a year ago to commission roads. And I noticed the tremendous improvement in the deliverance of the dividends of democracy in Rivers state.
“It is not about the amount of money at one’s disposal, but the commitment. And, this governor has worked in a manner that no other governor can compete with in this country.
“While people are commissioning rods, commissioning bridges, commissioning good projects, in my own state, Benue, we are giving out wheel barrows to empower people, so you can compare and contrast.”
Mark retired from the Nigerian army.
Some of the guests at the occasion were: Thompson Sekibo, senator representing Rivers east; Godswill Akpabio, former governor of Akwa Ibom, Celestine Omehia and Peter Odili, former governors of Rivers; Uche Secondus, former acting chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Nicholas Okoh, archbishop of Abuja province and primate of the Church of Nigeria in the Anglican Communion.

GOVERNOR WIKE ACCUSES FORMER GOVERNOR OF FORMING NEW CULT GROUP

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has stated that the immediate past governor of the state has formed a new cult group with the motive of creating security crisis in the state.

Speaking during the Commissioning of the Kpopie-Bodo Road in Gokana Local Government Area on Monday as part of activities to commemorate two years anniversary of his administration,Governor Wike informed that the new cult group formed by the former governor has been christened new rivers cult group .

He urged security agencies to call the immediate past governor to order as the new cult group will be resisted by the law abiding people of the state.

He revealed that the former governor inaugurated the cult group at a private residence in Woji area of Port Harcourt, after which he distributed N500, 000 to each of the 23 Local government areas.

He noted that the new cult group has two coordinators: Messrs Ojukaye Flag Amachree and Oji Ngofa who have been mobilised by the former governor.
Mr Ojukaye is presently standing trial for murder.
He said: "Let me alert Nigerians. I am only informing Nigerians and security agencies of the crime against Rivers State by the immediate past governor.
"We have successfully concluded the state amnesty programme for cultists in the state , but the former governor has set up another cult group."

The governor explained that the former governor assured members of his new cult group that they will receive security protection, adding that the new cult group members have been armed for the 2019 General elections.
"I am shouting for the security agencies to hear us. Let heaven hear us. Let nobody allow his son to be used .
'No amount of cult recruitment can intimidate us. I am calling on the security agencies to call the former governor to order".
