Thank you @justwise and @ lexusgs360 for your prompt response when I had questions.

Just picked up my passport from the British High Commission today after a successful appeal.

Here’s my timeline, it might be of help to those going through an appeal process.

Visa refused - September 2016
Appeal hearing - August 25th 2017
Letter that appeal was allowed - September 18th 2017
Email from UKVI that they had overturned their decision -October 11th 2017
IHS fee link sent - Oct 17th 2017
Submitted passport at TLS - Oct 18th 2017
Email to collect passport from BDHC - 30th October 2017
Collected passport - 3rd November 2017

Long wait but well worth it in the end. My passport was stamped on the 23rd of October and I have 20 days to leave.

May God grant us all our heart desires, Amen

@MrsElendu please I will be grateful to know the reason for your spousal visa application refusal. I submitted my application September 27th.
@joygirl2017 @lexusgs430 please I need to know if there are any chances of refusal if a dependent applicant is handicapped. I applied with my 4 years old daughter and I stated that she is unable to walk and on therapy since 2014 due to a medical condition. Please your insights in this issue is needed. Thank you

We were refused because we didn’t submit evidence of communication.

Hello Everyone! I have been reading for sometime now and I have learned a lot. I and my husband made a spouse visa application about 15 months ago which was rejected and we appealed. We only just won our appeal about a week ago after it got to the tribunal. The judge allowed the appeal on the grounds of human rights seeing as we have a 2 year old daughter who is British and has never been to the uk.

My question now is how long does it take from when your appeal is allowed till when u get your visa? Would I have to send my passport to Sheffield? What is the procedure?

Please Justwise and all the gurus in the house, would really appreciate any help given at this time.

Thank you

Got the email to submit my passport today after paying for IHS. My husband and I are beyond excited. Hoping the wait from here on is not too long.

Congratulations! Won my appeal last month and waiting for the call. How did they contact you? Were u asked to get another TB test done?

Heard it takes about 8 weeks after u submit your passport. Hopefully yours takes less. Congratulations again!

Thanks so much @lexusgs430. The letter we got gave them 14 days to appeal and that time has elapsed now so we are waiting fingers crossed for the email.

Thank you again for the prompt response.
