Hi,

I just got the lumia 720 yesterday running on windows phone 8. I love it so far, after using an iPhone for the last 4 yrs. I've downloaded the usual social media apps; for me it has most of the apps I actually find useful so I'm very pleased!

nanidee: Hello dear,

The websites really did help. there's a wealth of information on the internet about natural hair, and its so amazing. Did you do a big chop, or you just cut off the retouched bit? I am considering not applying relaxers to my hair again, but i dont know if it would count as much as if I actually cut it short.

But am definitely liking the natural hairs I have been seeing so far cool

You and madame_bebe definitely rock wink
The last time I retouched was in nov and I cut in jan so I had about 1.5inches or so of new growth. I think it's a personal choice as to how you chose to transition, for me it wasn't planned cos my hair was really damaged and had fallen out in certain places. I have seen blogs where people go as long as 2 years without retouching before finally cutting off because they don't like or feel short hair won't suit them. Check out loveyourtresses.com I think she's gone over a yr without relaxer and hasn't cut off all relaxed ends. You just need to learn to take care of both textures to avoid hair breaking until you're ready to cut.

Truly there's loads of info on the web, that what I mostly look at on the Internet now. Hubs says I'm obsessed cheesy

take care x

Hi,

I recently cut my hair and I'm learning to maintain natural hair; you can get a lot of info from blogs and hair forums. I love thekinkyapothecary..com, naturalnigerian.com, africannaturalista.com etc

Personally the products I use;
Shampoo: ors aloe shampoo ( this is not sulfate free)
Conditioner: dark and lovely cholestorol , ors hair mayonnaise, v05 moisture milks conditioner ( I use this one for cowashing)
Moisturiser: elasta qp olive and mango butter, ors hairepair anti breakage creme
I use natural oils like coconut, olive, castor etc after using moisturiser to seal in moisture.

A lot of natural ladies avoid products with mineral oil, petrolatum and silicones.

For me I feel it has been more about learning how to take care of my hair using this products because good products are useless when not used right.

Hope this helps!

You need to get cracking right now in my opinion.
Even if it's just compiling ideas and gathering inspiration.
I had my dress ready 4 months before my wedding and even then all the bridal shops (UK) I went to made me panic because they expect that you should have ordered your dress at least 6months earlier. Get your dress shopping done asap, you will definitely need to (or should) have 2/3 fittings before the day. (I had my last 1 month before). Once you have your dress you can shop for accessories and bridal train etc etc.

Try not to leave any major decisions to the last minute because wedding planning can be stressful.

Above all enjoy the months leading up to your wedding.

Good Luck! smiley
