Cottyekundayo and Mrsnja,

Hello guys!

Could we please walk through how the form a doc would be filled using GlobalPay?

(just the most significant aspects)

You need to contact the institution first. They will instruct you on how to generate a reference number or code and with that you can begin to fill the form. I'm assuming the process is the same as western money business solutions because that was the one I used and it worked very well.

Cottyekundayo:

Thanks. I understand how to generate the reference number. I visited diamond bank and UBA, here in asaba ( my statement of deployment) and the representatives I met, claimed they are no knowledge about th subject. I will visit firstbank too. Thanks again
You are welcome. I think you should go to a branch with an experienced hand on that desk. If possible insist on what you want to do. Just go ahead and fill your form A. Put the reference number and the rest of the information and submit.
Most of them don't know it. I had the same experience until the guy called his head office.

Cottyekundayo:
Greetings,
Please has anyone paid tuition with western union Global Pay lately? ¿ knows any bank her in NG that offers such service ¿?
I guess it's the same thing as western union business solutions. I used it to pay for my daughter who is also schooling in canada through form A in firstbank. Ask the school properly, they should be able to generate a reference code for you or tell you how to, you are supposed to take the reference code to your bank within 72 hours. Instead of filling the school as the beneficiary, you fill the western union global pay as the beneficiary with the generated reference and all, then they should credit the school within a few business days.
Hope this helps.

author=Mrsnja post=41108518]@damisakin and@greener222...Thanks to you both for your prompt response.
I see I still need to give some more information.., I'm self employed. I have a small business that makes an average of about 300k every month which reflects in my bank statement though I have just about 300k balance with 1miĺlion in fixed deposit. I have my business registration and my tax clearance is up to date.
As for ties here, my husband is not going with me, and I still have another child in high school here in Nigeria.
Do you stiĺl think I should present the invitation letter and still say I'm going to settle my daughter? [/quote]
Just managed to submit today. Now the waiting begins!!

Hi nairalanders,
I have silently been following this thread and I need your help ASAP.
I plan to apply for a tourist visa to Canada this week. My daughter just got her study visa this week. The original plan was for me to accompany her to Canada but I didn't want to apply before she got her visa. Now I think it's too late for me to get a visa on time in order to be able to accompany her to school early January. The plan now is for her to go ahead of me if the visa is not ready by then which is very likely then I will go as soon I get a visa. My challenge now is how I will state my purpose of travel so as not to get a refusal. I intend to say i want to go and settle her in since i can't go with her immediately.
Meanwhile I have 2 relatives in Canada who are a citizen and a permanent resident respectively. I have a invitation letter from the one who is a Canadian citizen promising to take care of my feeding and accommodation while I'm in Canada.
As for my travel history, I've been to the U.S. three times and have a current 2 year visa, I've also been to the UK twice, India twice, Dubai severally, Senegal Ghana and some other African countries.
The only snag is right now I don't have a lot in my bank account.
So readers, what do you think I should do to better my chances?
