Thespecialone: I suggest you use VISA card. Lower exchange rates than master card. Avoid UBA Visa card though.

Anywhere u are just take it 2 laptop repairer, they will change d DVD drive: dis is abt d simplest replacement work on laptop & may nt cost more than 5k. D issue isn't a cause 4 alarm. Goodluck

Like I said it's a function of d config/spec: d processor speed, ram size, hdd & availability of d full options afore time mentioned: also d location/market u r buying from. I know u can always get good price @ computer village if u r in Lagos. I got mine mine frm there @ abt 55k: my config is Intel 3.5ghz, 320gb, 4gb wt all d mentIoned features including fingerprint & wifi.

Of course, lesser spec wil be of cheaper price, say 2.5 - 3.0ghz, 120gb, 2gb, etc. Some 'may' not have inbuilt Bluetooth, card reader, etc. in this case, u may still get good build btw 35 - 40k.

On d battery, average battery life is 2-3hrs. Some sincere sellers will give u guarantee on dis, if they r too sure of there product. That is also why ur buying point must not be too far frm ur location, esp if u r buying 'direct uk used' (aka Belgium) should u need 2 register a complaint. Note it that even some brand new lap pies do come wt factory faults: and if it under warranty u r 100% cover.

Do not hesitate 2 make further enquiries on dis & it is also good to seek 2nd opinion: lappy isn't what u buy or change every month. N.B: I am not a computer expert neither am I an authority o cos there are real gurus on dis forum .... BUT I'm enjoying my lappy.

Upturn d lappy, remove d battery, check around dat compartment carefully u'll see d sim slot.

I think it's a function of what u really want to use ur lappy for, e.g documentations, graphics, gaming, surfing, video/photo work, etc.

However, I use elitebook 6930p and it's never been a dull moment. D lappy is strong, durable & dependable. I enjoyed d use of d unique inbuilt FireWire port, card reader, SIM card slot, fingerprint, led backlight.

I must confess I don't much about d compaq spec but I think u can google it & can even compare them side by side.

I will adv u go 4 no.2 (elitebook) tho depending on d config available in d 2540p. I know average elitebook is strong, rugged, reliable & esp built 4 biz. I do use 6930p at d moment & it's just my 2nd office.

U also hv benefits of inbuilt FireWire port, SIM card slot, card reader, led light, etc. all these will cost u additional money if u buy a lappy without them (except u don't make do with any of d features... My 2 cents anyway.

When asked what is being discusd in d meetings, she professd thngs lik hw 2 squander pple's destiny, either grind it wt machine-like device or box it up temporarily 4 further use; hw best 2 torment their victim & cut off external rescuers frm d victims; hw 2 initiate more members thru food poison; etc.

I can't really notice any other 'physical' signs of witchcraft apart frm d fact dat she always sleeps wt her leg crossed: no matter hw u try 2 separate it, afta a few minutes d leg is crossed again.

Not so comfortable abt dis, I asked my wife 2 let us send her parking bt she's always not cooperating: basing it on d fact dat she (my wife) needs assistance at home 4 d chores.

I don't really want 2 b over-assuming. Pls could these dreams b enough indications dat dis girl is possessed of witchcraft or she is just a prospective member or just being witch-hunted?
