Chelsea wonderkid Tammy Abraham is focused on representing England youth teams ahead of the 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship and Fifa U20 World Cup.

Nigeria Football Federation chief Amaju Pinnick thinks he can use his connections with Abraham’s father to convince him to play for the Super Eagles, but the striker has admitted that he’s delighted to play for England U21s.

The Camberwell-born talented netted twice on his full debut for England U21s in their 5-0 rout of Bosnia and Herzegovina and has gone on to make four appearances in total since his debut.

“It was a great feeling for me. To score two goals on my full debut was brilliant and I think it was the confidence from playing week in, week out at Bristol which helped me going into that game.

“Scoring goals is what I love doing, ” Tammy Abraham told chelseafc.com.

Abraham helped the Young Lions to qualify for the 2017 Fifa U20 World Cup last year in Germany, and was promoted to the U21s after a blistering start to his Bristol City career.

Ex-Egypt’s Antiquities Minister and renowned archaeologist, Zahi Hawass, has angrily called Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi, “an idiot”. This came as the striker seemed to show little interest during a tour of the Giza Pyramids.

Hawass, famed for his Indiana Jones hat and TV specials on Egypt’s ancient sites, showed Messi around the Giza Pyramids last month during a brief visit to Egypt by the Argentina star.

When Hawass was asked by journalists how Messi’s reaction was compared to that of Hollywood movie star Will Smith, who also toured the Pyramids with Hawass earlier this month, he said, “Messi is an idiot. And I am sorry to say that. “I was explaining the antiquities to him and there’s no reaction in his face. I was explaining things that would make a rock react, but he was just like an idiot.”

Two students of the elite secondary school for girls in Nigeria, Queen’s College, Yaba, in Lagos, have died after eating Spaghetti served from the school’s Refectory by the college cooks. Following the death of the students, the school was shut down by the management.

The two female boarding students, Vivian Osuinyi and Bithia Itulua reportedly died between Thursday, February 23 and Friday, February 24, 2017, after prolonged vomiting and stooling.

They had allegedly eaten Spaghetti and drank water served in the Refectory.

The school sent the students home on the directive of officials from the Federal Ministry of Health and their colleagues from Lagos State who have opened investigations into the deaths.

Already, the officials from the Federal Ministry are in the school, to determine what allegedly caused the deaths of the two female students.

Following outbreak of diarrhoea in the school, parents, whose wards resumed on Monday, contacted officials of the Parents Teacher Association (PTA), to find out the situation of things.

Only Senior Secondary III students resumed on Monday, to complete their examinations while the junior students were expected in school next week, but, with the outbreak of diarrhoea and the directive by health officials to send the students home, it will affect the resumption of other students.

Some parents told Daily Sun, yesterday, that the school management ought to have taken pre-emptive measures when, a month ago, some students started vomiting and stooling in the dormitory and were rushed to the sickbay by their colleagues.

According to the Daily Sun, a senior staff confirmed that health officials have directed that the SS III students be sent home to enable Lagos State health officials investigate the source of the diarrhoea as well as carry out environment assessment of the school.

“As soon the SS III students finish their Mathematics examination, today, they will go home. We have informed parents about their coming home. The health officials insisted the students must vacate the college to allow for thorough investigation.”

The staff, however, added that, “some parents are just blowing the issue out of proportion. The issue started a month ago when some students complained and were treated at the sickbay and two weeks ago, a student vomited and stooled and she died later. The new old girls association president called the principal to inform her of another death which we are yet to confirm.’’

Some protesters loyal to the Senator Ahmed Makarfi Caretaker Committee, have stormed the national secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja, calling on the police to stop the National Chairman of the party, Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, from entering the secretariat.

The Spokesperson to the Ahmed Makarfi group, Dayo Adeyeye, at a press conference, also asked the police to stop the national chairman from accessing the party’s secretariat.

Senator Sheriff moved into the national secretariat of the PDP on Friday, relying on the Court of Appeal judgement that declared him as the authentic chairman of the party.

He said the reopening of the party’s secretariat would enable him and the National Working Committee to work towards returning the party to its status in 1999.

A furious student has blasted Facebook after it removed her naked anti-Trump protest pictures. Outraged Emma Dyason, 19, posted the images to protest against US President Donald Trump .
They featured nude models holding cards with ‘sexist quotes made by Trump’ written on them.

But despite their ‘important areas’ being covered up, the social network decided to take the images down.

Facebook had told Ms Dyason the images involved ‘female nudity’ and also threatened to close her account.
