I wouldn't want to discourage you but all i can advice is to increase your chances by adding a letter addressing the following points:

1. How the exam is linked to your current job.

2. Why you decided to do it in the UK and not other African countries that will cost you less

3. Why you decided to sponsor yourself considering how much it will take out of your salary within a short period of time
Thanks justwise. I will do just that. But please what do you think about that bank statement. Will those monies be considered as lodgement? I need to clarify this; When you state that your income source is salary and you provide a salary account, does it mean that they dont want to see any other deposits apart from your salary?

Will your company be sponsoring you?
No. My company will not. Its a personal endeavor. My coy however has provided a letter of introduction which indicates im their employee, my salary, designation, also that they are aware of my intentions, i have applied for and been granted an unpaid leave of absence for that purpose and indicates when the leave starts and when im expected to resume back at work. But i am sponsoring myself.

Dear gurus in the house. I'm going to submit a visa application next week. Please criticise my profile.
Taking a look at my bank statement i need some advice on what money lodgement is.
I earn 100k per month, it shows in my statement and i have may slips to back it up
The balance is a little over 1million naira, saved over a period of time. Six months ago my balance was like 700k.
Between then and now i had various credits from sources other than my salary: 50k, at times 70k sometimes less, but not up to 100k. And they occur regularly, every month. Majority of these cash come from my husband and frankly theyre for housekeeping, etc so that i can concentrate on saving my salary. Some from another family member: gifts and whatnots, help me buy this...etc
Looking back now, do i need to explain all these monies? Because its impossible to provide hard evidence.
Visit period im looking at is 7 days ( im going there to write a one day exam)
I will stay in a budget hotel
I'm married with a one year old child. D child and spouse stays back in Nigeria.
Last year i was refused a visa due to insufficient funds.
THE LAST THING I WANT IS ANOTHER REFUSAL!!
Awaiting your contributions please.
