Education / Re: Types Of Boarding School by mskeeter: 11:16am On Jun 10, 2011
Of all these boarding schools, I prefer military teen boarding schools more. Dealing with a troubled teen can be frustrating and heartbreaking for parents. If your child is struggling or acting out, chances are that you have tried every method you can think of to change their behavior and turn their life around. This creates great strain on yourself and your family. If you are at your wit’s end and don’t know where to turn, a youth military school might be the best option.

I love my stay in the boarding school. We were assessed depending on our behavior and our weaknesses eradicated. Choice of subjects is important and were guided towards a career for which were are suited and in which we have an interest or hopefully a passion. Great experience.

I had friends who went to boarding school and they quickly became more independent & formed close relationships with their fellow student boarders. Also, for them the transition to a college dormitory was easy. Boarding isn't so bad! Besides, most boarding schools usually have long vacations which you can spend with your family/friends.
