dexla: Lol @ victim. guy calm down. heard this year's questions was way cheaper compared to last year. Although time was a major constraint. the current affairs questions were quite dicey. question like .....when was Unilag established amalgamation. current minister of petroleum etc. The English was more of analogy and antonyms. mathematics was the cheapest but not enough time to solve. in other to gain admission Heard someone paid 100k before the exams and intends to balance up with 50k once her name is released in the merit. Nigeria is still very corrupt and I'm sure some people here won't hesitate to pay that large sum for admission. God help us all To whom when you can use the money for better things, if you can't pass the entrance why are you seeking a higher certification. Not everyone that starts finishes this isn't like bsc. By the way the scores and admission list are public if you don't make department cut off no show regardless of money am not saying you are lying but I exteremly doubt the information (exaggerated) Modified Intact I am very much interested in how this story will play out please keep us updated. Thanks |

kalan: Lolzz. I heard it was not cool at all. but funny the cut off cannot go below 40. that is the lowest fixed by the senate. sometimes when things go bad, they actually will help some people. lets say the highest is 35/60. after adding other grades from experience, bsc grades and etc, 35 could go up to 70/100.
that is the beauty of these exams.
Like last year, many people complaining now will be surprised your name is in the merit list.
it happens every year. |

2n2k: Is there any ethics for journalism in Nigeria? Every idiots will just have brainwave and start publishing their figment of imagination.
It is only Nigerian media that will report a close door meeting between two persons and gleefully report the sitting arrangement, verbatim report of what was said by who, - even in quotes. |

All things being equal males/females who have marriage in mind should be married or preparing to do so in their mid twenties.......but then we all know things aren't equal. Give this lady a bottle of water |

checkmat.eman: okay sorry about that, MPhil is just like masters but involves research works not like the normal masters by coursework and the requirement is BSc or First Class HND and not NCE. Also PhD is for people that have already completed masters although some you can do some PhD if you have first class only in BSc and any other degree but I've come across such leverage in Nigeria but its in Europe.
As for your biology, you won't be eligible for MPhil or PhD because although you are a first clas s graduate, your degree is tailored towards education which means that some core courses of Biology won't be taken care of and so moving to MPhil or PhD will be difficult. the best I guess is to go for MSc in biology then PhD. Besides, you can still check each schools requirements or visit their admission and Departmental office for more info
Note: when visiting the school, make sure you also reach the department cos admission office aren't right on this kind of cases |
