Hi, fellow msc economics ft students - mtor et al, I was at the department today and was told that I would have to pay a sum of 15k as dept due before they would give me the guidelines on courses to register, Pls has anyone paid the said fee? Is it possible to ignore this and use the (5k) prospectus from the spgs fir registration.

The earlier you register the better and good chance to get accomodation

the hostel accomodation available is grossly inadequate
I squatted for 4years in Hall3...lol
I had to schedule my sleeping hours to coincide with the jacking hours of a jackophite in every room I stayed in... lol

Thousands of graduands paid yearly for that project. The receipt of payment was a requirement for clearance. Dunno if it still is

I was not given any receipt except for the payment teller, I have not received any sms confirming payment and my dashboard is still the same as it was before payment. I will wait till 12pm tomorrow as advised before going there to complain. Thanks for the info

Gud evening all, I paid the obligatory and school fees in Access Bank on campus since morning and the spgs website is still asking me to pls pay obligatory fee. Please what is the way forward?

Were you given reciept to acknowledge payment?
Did you see any changes on your portal after the payment? If you don't get any positive change by 12pm tomorrow I advice you go back there to complain. It's also possible it's not being registered by the bank payment portal.

God bless whoever changed the topic to reflect what's being discussed. I remember I raised the issue sometimes ago. And to the three who responded to my question about the cost of the prospectus, God bless una too. Me, I ain't going anywhere near unilag until the last week of January. By then everything would have been up and working, the PG peeps would be around to conduct registration, and most importantly, my department would have posted information regarding courses, course combinations, the lecturers for each course and other such stuff. Such info is essential in order not to regret one's choices after filling the course form.

I was at the SPGS today to pay for my prospectus, i went personally to the the director in charge of Post Graduate ICT issues. He told me that the registration module has not been activated for the new Post Graduate students. He said i should check the portal by Thursday or Friday that the registration should be working then

you no observe say the medical form and the acceptance dey missing for that list wey them paste for spgs? Na Jes d biodata, course form, admission letter n certificates(nysc, marriage, Bsc.) Teller(online receipt) n receipt of prospectus dey... Unilag ehn, lol!
