NDDC was set to alleviate the low level of development in the Niger Delta, despite the huge resources of oil funds the entire nation was benefitting from.
Now, every region wants its own commission.

It has been observed that state governors are not performing to his expectation despite increase in Allocation, With the increase on revenue in government pocket, instead of increasing state allocation, the funds will be diverted to the commision for better use.
People don't blame state governors and local government chairmen for lack of development, the federal government has to creat a path to reach out to the people directly.
