Please is IVF the only option for a TTC family with a low sperm count?
No. We've option such as adoption, surrogacy, Boosting it by using drugs(Addyzoa, Fertiaid for men) and so on....

morning mamas, please who can explain how HMO works. I believe it will help curb cost in this TTC journey. Is it only for salary earners? Will I start getting the benefits immediately after registering?
Yeah I've been using HMO for the past 7years even though I benefited more when I was pregnant but when it comes to fertility. The package is different and more expensive but when it comes to normal health treatment such as operation, malaria, Antenatal and so on...... It's economical.

Good morning everyone and trust we are good and staying safe. I recently embarked on my ivf journey. Three blastocyst were transferred. I was doing well until yesterday which was the 9th day of the transfer. I started seeing blood though not as heavy as my menstrual cycle but I am really nervous. I have been carrying out urine home test but negative. I am really worried. Pls house kindly help calm my anxiety.
Madam, try and lie down for now. Are you on progestogen such as Cyclogest and Progynova.

You can only do 30Minutes walk within the house. Please take enough water, no bending or lifting of any heavy weight.

The blood might be Spotting. I started seeing blood on my first cycle at day 9 of transfer too and the baby is 9Month plus now.

Congratulations ma'am because the results will still comes out positive

So sorry about the outcome dear..did you have ohss?
I ask because when I did mine at kingswill..my tummy was so big and hard..one of the doctors there had to drain fluid from my tummy before transfer because he said it would be worse after transfer..pele dear, it is well.
I was told everything was okay before and after transfer.

The doctor said he did not see any fluid ma'am

So sorry about your failed transfer and your current predicament.

Was it Kingswill ( God bless his soul) that did your retrieval?

Kindly ask them to do scan to rule out ohss.

It's well.

I will ma'am. I really appreciate you concern and thanks for the advice ma

Dear House,

Don't go to Kingswill to do IVF procedure. The present doctor is just using people for experiment.

Wearing my maternity gown now because my tummy is very big as if am 9Month pregnant with negative results.

Picture attached.

The Doctor is even confused seeing my tummy and he said may be my thinking linked to big tummy.

Tummy in black is my present look now after failed IVF oooo at Kingswill hospital and the first picture is when I was 9Month pregnant.

Is it compulsory for them to continue the IVF, since the real person is dead?

I think compacted embryo on day 5 is when the embryo is lagging behind in development.

I have read some people do get +ve with that. You have always been lucky with your treatment I pray yours will be +ve.

I've visited them before but a friend that I met through this group that as PCOS cycled with them two years ago and she gave birth to triplets, it was Dr Leke that was in charge then but since they changed doctor, I don't no any one that cycled with them

Good day all, please what is the name and address of the late Dr. Kingswill hospital, we are planning on IVF but our budget is 700/800. Thanks all
Madam, still wait alittle. My experience today was really bad all because the man is dead.

I only proceed because retrieval was carried out before his dead.

And Dr Kingswill joins the saints. This life no balance at all.
Very very painful cos even though he had his lapses,he was a very good man with a good heart. Aside from giving us a discounted IVf of 850k He gave some of my members free iVF and some were to cycle wt him this month as compensation for a failed cycle or those who had issues with eggs not fertilising. It is well honestly. May God rest his soul. This is a big blow to our IVF and TTC family.
Very Painful. I was at the hospital yesterday when I had the bad news. He gave me discount of 800k, Feeling sad at the moment

this is the real picture of Grabbo, once u pay like this they will start showing their true colour and when u have a bfn, the doctor will be sounding as if u r disturbing and bothering her. I recently circled with them and all ,I mean all what u described here happened. I told the sonograher on day 6 stim scan to tell me how I'm responding ,he said he can't tell me anything , the doctor herself did the last scan on day 10 stim ,I expected her to at least tell me some things but she said nothing. I couldn't bear the nonsense again and I had to tell them to tell me my statistics on transfer day, so they now told me eggs retrieved, how many fertilized, how many made it to day 5, how many they will transfer. I met a lady there, she told me later on that she didn't even know any of these things during the procedure cos they didn't tell her but she was successful anyway but later had miscarriage. besides if u have serious medical issues like endometriosis ,don't even bother going there cos they don't know how to manage it in ivf. they follow normal ivf protocol for everybody which will never work out for someone with endo
their success rate is high to be honest but they need to work on their relationship with customers
mama I pray that your next procedure will be a success in Jesus name
Hmmmm

God will save us but very annoying

GRABBO is one of the most incompetent clinic i have ever visited . I remember i chatted and called their staff for information on how long the test will take so I can prepare myself financially and also to give my husband adequate information so he will know how many days to take off work. I was told d result will b out in 2-3days max . I and my DH went to abuja just to be told d result will take 6 day . I was there just in their accommodation waiting for just a single prolactin result to be out . Result dat can be gotten in max 2 days back to my residence. I couldn't start the ivf in dat Aug . So I came back to place of residence.
Went back to abuja again when I saw my period dat same day I booked my flight so I can be at d clinic d next day . On getting to the hospital I met a Dr that was telling mi oh u shouldnot have come we are no longer taking ivf patients for this time till jan cos we will b closing for the year in dec . I am like how is dat possible that has a patient I wasnot informed dat dey closing for Dec or so Dont they have a database the share adequate information with their patients. Then I told her I cannot go back to lagos again dis is my second visit .I paid 53,000 for one way to come to abuja.
She now told mi she will ve to speak with deir CMD DR Kate and plead if dey can take it as if dey were doing mi a favour and I didnot pay . I didnot say anytin . Den she went out called and said ok I can start cos I will finish my cycle before dey close for the year.
Ok this is now the real story
GRABBO NEVER TELL YOU ANY ADEQUATE INFORMATION . EG HOW MANY EGGS U GOT, WHAT IS UR GRADE OF EGGS , IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF EGGS, IF U WILL LIKE TO FREEZE . HOW WAS YOUR LINING BEFORE TRANSFER, WHEN U NOW DECIDE TO ASK THEM . THEY WILL NOT ANSWER U, ALL DEY WILL SAY IS ITS OK . THE NURSES WERE NOT NICE AND READY TO PROVIDE INFO SINCE IT WAS MY FIRST TIME .JUST A FEW WERE FRIENDLY.
THE DR WILL COME TO THE RETRIVAL ROOM AND BONE HER FACE .YOU WILL GREET HER AND SHE WILL ANSWER YOU COLDLY. MADAM IVF IS ALREADY A STRESSFUL JOURNEY . WE NEED U TO BE NICE AND APPROACHABLE.
AFTER TRANSFER NO ONE EVER BOTHER TO CHECK ON YOU. WHICH DAT ONE IS OK . THE DATE OF TESTING . RESULT CAME OUT NEGATIVE, ( SAD FACE),WELL I WAS AWARE IVF IS NOT 100% THAT WAS WHY I PAID FOR 3 CYCLES. I NOW CALLED DR KATE TO REVIEW MY TEST JUST TO KNOW IF I CAN WORK TOWARDS MY SECOND CYCLE . AS USUAL SHE SOUNDED VERY COLD AND NOT APPROACHABLE. NOT EVEN A SINGLE SIGN OF EMPATHY AND EVEN AS A WOMAN TO WOMAN SHE SHOULD VE EVEN ENCOURAGE ME TO B STRONG AND TRY AGAIN HER NEXT WORD WAS HOW MANY CYCLE DID U PAY FOR I TOLD HER 3 D NEXT THING IS OK COME NEXT YEAR. DAT WAS ALL FROM A DR DAT UNDERSTAND WHAT A WOMAN PASSES THROUGH TO HAVE A CHILD .
IN ALL SINCERELY NOT COS OF THE BFN I HAD . BUT GOING TO GRABBO WAS A TERRIBLE CHOICE COS OF MY EXPERIENCE WITH D DR'S AND NURSE AND DEY NEED TO DO BETTER. ITS BEING ON PROMO SHOULDNOT MAKE THE PATIENT COMING TO THIER CLINIC TO FEEL LESS OF THEMSELVES. ALL THEY SELL IS JUST A BEAUTIFUL BUILDING AND ZERO MEDICAL PRACTICE ANd EMPATHY .
I WILL BE GOING BACK NEXT YEAR COS I VE PAID FOR A 3 CYCLE AND I CANNOT AFFORD TO LET GO OF THE BALANCE WHICH I WISH I CAN. I PRAY MY SECOND CYCLE IS A SUCCESS AND I PRAY THEY IMPROVE ON THEIR CUSTOMER- CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS.
Very sorry ma'am for the experience. I have strong believe that the next cycle result will be multiple.

My believe for you is that, even if people are getting negative, yours will be positive.

During my first procedure with Kingswill, I was scared of using the place because all the people I saw using own egg are getting negative results but I just made up my mind that even if everyone is getting negative my will be positive.

Despite the fact that only one good embryo was transferred with the second one bad. I still get my positive even though I saw blood for more than two month and the boy is 8month plus now.

My sister, you're still coming here to share your own testimony in 2021.

Congratulations in advance ma'am.
