Yetunspepper:Testiscular scan is N15,000 from Prisms Diagnostics in Surulere, Lagos. Its a scan to check if the testicles are not blocked or of they are preventing sperms from flowing to the peni.s You can ask other diagnostic labs if you're not in Lagos or close to Surulere. |
@Derommyvent: CONGRATULATIONS to you Sister. See God Almighty in action. You were complaining of the hsg result and NOW A BFP? Sometimes we humans always want a 100% perfect result before we can have rest of mind from ttc. This is to show that He is Greater that all. Wishing you a stress free nine months and safe delivery. |
@Fearless: Listen to @IOmoge. Unexplained cannot be using cream on his joystick. Let her register and join the thread. Better still, tell her to seek another gynea's opinion. You are not a gynea and we are not either. |
@Mamakendra: Pls wait for the sabi mamas to say something. I don't delve into areas I'm not sure of. Although, I can see good follicles developing there . |
Please for all with sfa issues: Do not self medicate your DH o! Some natural supplements can be self medicated but not orthodox. There are different regimen of drugs for specific cases of sfa. MAY WE ALL TESTIFY IN JESUS NAME. |
fosterkid:Gynapharm treats only the existing pid and cannot on its own repair the damage. You need to combine with a damage-repairing drug/herb/procedure like Guifei bao/Flushing/Surgery. |
@Olubankemi: If your DH has done a scan to show there's a blockage in his testicle, then the drug brenessel can be used BUT PLS WITH DOCTORS' PRESCRIPTION. Brenessel eats up the cysts, scar tissue in the testis instead of going for Surgery to remove the blockages. |

@Mamakendra: AMEN IN JESUS NAME. |
mamakendra:Don't bother yourself about it if no gynea, hsg or any procedure expert has never told you. One way its diagnosed is that no medical instrument especially, hsg/flushing/iui will be able to pass thru the cervix easily without some stress. You will know when they complain about how difficult it is for them to go thru your cervix. Not all cases of sperm pouring back is as a result of closed cervix. |
@hot momma: I wouldn't advise you mix the two. Either fix it herbally with the alagbo women who cures Eda. If it persists after the treatment, you can now use EPO after few cycles. I'm always very careful with any other medication when using herbs. All the best and pouring baby dusts on US ALL. |
Thanks @faithful wife: I'll discuss it with my doc. Also, no vex o, did you have any issues with fsh or ovarian reserve? On what basis did he prescribe or is it a routine treatment prior ivf? |
@freaking out: You are a clown. You got me there. May our bfps and safe delivery of our babies be shocking to our enemies. |
@hot momma: The motility could be a factor. Its good you're already taking care of it. Its closed cervix not closed uterus. It is Eda in Yoruba. The Evening Primrose Oil dosage is 2 needle-punched capsule vaginally every night before O and 3-4capsules orally daily before O. Start the epo immediately after af stops. Stop a day to O or at o. The prescribed drugs DH took were: Clomid Doxcycilline (spelling*) L-Calnitin Brenessel (to remove blockages in the testis causing low count too) |
faithfulwife:Are they to be prescribed by doctors or can anyone with increasing fsh/low ovarian reserve use them? |
iOmoge:Evening Primrose Oil. Can be bought in capsule form from any big pharmacy. Its also good for lack of EWCM but for ttc ladies, must NEVER BE USED AFTER O. |
hotmomma:Many reasons: 1. Infection (treatment for you and DH, test first to be sure) 2. Watery/low sperm count 3. Closed cervix. (this can be treated by inserting a punched EPO into the vagina btw days after af to the days leading up to O. Stop EPO at O. EPO dilates the cervix making it open and softer. Oral application should be done together with the vaginal application. |
Thanks to all who responded to my question on Bridge clinic. |
MummyEsther:Please experienced Sisters should please say something. |
@All who has used Bridges Clinic: Pls share your experiences abeg. I want to know more abt their successes or failures(if any) as I'm also thinking of going the ivf route with Bridge's. |
It is well o! |
@fruitful vine: very very low levels will need the 400mg twice a day. moderately low progesterone levels will need the 200mg twice a day. |

fosterkid:The person's no is 08020949514 |
@Foster kid: The best way is to do a follicular tracking. You'll also know if your ovulated eggs are maturing enough. After your first follicular tracking you can then use opk around the time you'll be expecting O. |
@venizia: Did you use all in a cycle? |

iyimide:What's the cost for IVF, Drugs, Consultation & Tests? |
According to them, its for those earning average of that per month. I think its better you pay them a visit. You'll get all info first hand. |
@Sugah: the subsidized is only done at lasuth. However, the bridge's clinic itself charges over 1. something million per cycle. You can Google them for their contact. |
MummyEsther:I finally went to Bridge's Clinic in Lasuth yesterday . Total package I was given is thus: Consultation: N20,000 Tests: N110,00(couple) IVF: N300,000 (no longer 250k) Drugs: from N250,000 TOTAL N680,000 (Criteria for this is a 3months pay slip/account statement to prove you're a below average income earner. Earning like a total of n300k monthly as a couple) Pls is there anyone with an experience with Bridges clinic? Kindly share. Thanks |
