1. Yes, you can use a relative who is permanently residing in the US.
2. The answer here is NO, except you filed for I-140 inside the USA.
3. They asked, do you have a document to establish that you have been vaccinated according to USA law.
Select "yes" for this, as vaccination is a prerequisite for the interview.
Do we answer yes or no ( since we have not taken all vaccines yet). We also do not have any documents. Is there a place to get it in Nigeria?
You will still have to undergo medical examination in Lagos before the interview attendance and collection of visa. Please select "yes"
4. Yes, and please try to complete this page as fast as you can. It took me more than three weeks to fill this page due to the system's automatic logout after 20 or 30 minutes of inactivity. To beat the system from logging me out, I copied all my details on a notepad before transferring them to the online form.
Must we add include secondary school and university hostel, particularly for our children in school, or is our home address enough?
Yes. I included the locations where I resided during my BSc, MSc, PhD, and even during my postdocs... lol
5. Not all of them. I only provided my social media handles for LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Nairaland, and Telegram.
Thank you.

Thank you so much for your response.
We are however having issues with the payment.
Please I've sent you an email, kindly share your whatsapp no so I can reach you faster.
Thank you for your assistance so far.

Applicant.

Thank you @chemashie .

I still have more questions in regards to this ds 260 form. Thanks for your insight on the following

1.They asked where you want the green card mailed, can we use a relative's USA address?

2.They asked if you have been certified by Secretary of labour as skilled or unskilled.
Do we answer yes or no. (We got EB2 NIW)

3. They asked, do you have a document
to establish that you have been vaccinated according to USA law.

Do we answer yes or no ( since we have not taken all vaccines yet).
We also do not have any documents. Is there a place to get it in Nigeria?

4. They asked for every address you lived since you were 16 yrs.

Must we add include secondary school and university hostel, particularly for our children in school, or is our home address enough.

5. On social media, must we all list every social media or one is enough.

Please any of the gurus in the house can help/ respond please.
Thank you.

You do not need to engage a lawyer for the next step of the immigrant visa process. As mentioned earlier, simply await the welcome letter from the NVC and proceed with the DS260 Application online. In my situation, which I believe is similar to others, I completed the online application and submitted the following documents: a copy of the marriage certificate, a birth certificate (issued by NPC), a photocopy of the passport page, a police clearance certificate (from Nigeria and South Africa), and a document cover sheet. Ensure that these documents are all in color. While you are waiting for the letter, it is recommended that you begin the process of obtaining birth certificates from NPC and police clearance certificates for all the countries in which you have resided for more than 12 months, both for yourself and your spouse. Congratulations!

In completely the DS-260 form by your self, in the sign-in page , do you choose petitioner or applicant. My husband is the principal applicant. We used a lawyer for the first stage and got approval. We want to do this stage by our selves.
Thanks for your response.

No need for proof of fund,i have seen a family of 7

Thanks for your response! Family of 7, that's really encouraging for us.
But please, do you mean we won't need a proof of fund at this NVC stage or through out - even at the interview stage?

Thank you very much for your response.

Adidee:
Hello,

Congrats on your approval.
1. You do not need proof of funds for NIW.
What you need for the next stage is $345 for each of your family member.

2. I do not think size of family affects your application, the age of your children however does. ( children above 21 won’t be eligible ). It is advisable you file for all your family members now, you wouldn’t want to go through another process of filing for an additional family member.

Pls send a message

Good day guys, thank you all for all you are doing on this forum/ thread.
My spouse applied in Dec and recently got approval for EB2 niw.
He has received invoices for payments for the next step from NVC, and we are gathering our civil documents.
Please I have the following questions:
1. Is proof of sufficient fund described earlier on this thread required at this nvc stage or at the embassy stage? This is because we need time to add more to our savings
2. Does size of dependents affect one's chances during interviews at embassy ? This info will help us decide whether to file for 2 (for now) or 4 all of our kids.

Hoping for your kind responses to my questions.
God bless you all.

Thank you all for your prompt response
