Hello guys, I've been wondering why Nigerian Mechanics find it extremely difficult to fix a 13 pin Gearbox. Most of them will either advise you to rebuild it to 10 pin or get a new 13 pin Gearbox. It really baffles me! Experts your opinions are needed.

If am to take a guess . your 2007 camry is 4plugs! From 2007 to 2009 4plugs are factory defect that shorts oil ... The v6 does not have that problem.......

So my advice is for you to get a complete tokunbo engine. Hopefully u can find one .. You are looking to spend at least 300k ........ And once u are able to get a tokunbo engine always make sure to check the oil level .. You might have to use a thicker oil 5w40 will be advisable... Good luck

Hello guys. My car engine broke down due to no oil (Perhaps my ignorance as I'm a total novice and Don't even know oil gauge)

Mechanic said the metal is broken and it affected the Crankshaft. I'm thinking of buying engine half and top or just buy new Crankshaft and Original metal. Your recommendations would be highly appreciated
