my dear what happened yesterday was nothing short of a miracle. They are state sponsored students tho.. all the refusals got reverted back to approvals

What’s with the state or federal sponsorship thing , is it for real? U said you know some people that used it to get UK visa but only one applicant was denied.
Somebody have also told me about federal sponsorship because student that travel with that can bring in dependent even with direct MSc. I felt skeptical bout it when the person told me that some legit sources runs this federal scholarship/ sponsorship thing.
Reading one of your comment that u mentioned something of such makes me wanna enquire more about it , how real is it and if u know a sure source that does it

Please, I have a question for anyone who has had a similar experience.

If you applied to withdraw your visa because your school withdrew your CAS, but UKVI rejected the visa withdrawal, and now the school has issued a new CAS for the same January intake

Do I need to submit a completely new visa application, or will UKVI be able to use the new CAS on the existing application?

I’m honestly confused about what’s going on and would really appreciate clarification from anyone who has gone through this.

Please I need advise. I have issues with the date of birth and Name in my passport. My passport has my 2 names while all other documents has my 3 names. And the Year in my passport is incorrect while all my documents has the correct year. If I get an affidavit for this during application, will it trigger an interview from UKVI?

How did you even secure admission with discrepancies in your date of birth? That’s not even possible. If your degree or transcript shows a different DOB, the institution would require an official confirmation from your school to verify that the qualification genuinely belongs to you.

The institution or company that awarded the scholarship does not meet the requirement set by UKIV. Those that were issued visas with the same scholarship letter may receive a letter from UKIV regarding this. The case worker that processed their visa did not pay close attention to the requirement

They accepted his award letter and then sent him approval mail
Then later sent refusal, rejecting the same award letter. The attachments will be deleted

I’m still waiting for my decision email, but I want to know if it’s possible (or advisable) to create the UKVI account earlier and whether it later shows the eVisa once approval comes.

When it comes , u will definitely see it ..
Most times people forget to link their evisa after getting the approval mail.
I just saw a case although it’s not the reason for the refusal mail tho.
He got visa on Monday and on Thursday got a refusal mail. People are blaming him for not linking the visa on time

UKVI requested additional documents from me (source of funds), which I submitted via the Sheffield email as instructed. I’ve received the acknowledgment mail confirming receipt.

For those who have been in a similar situation:
- How long did it take for your visa to be approved after sending the requested source of funds?
- Did you get any further email before the decision, or was it just the final decision mail?

When was it sent to you, and how long did it take before you forwarded it? If you sent it immediately, you could receive an approval email within 2–3 days.

Abeg som1 needs help. The person applied for a study visa since December, only SLA not met. Now the person is thinking of withdrawing the application. Will the school do a refund of the deposit if requested?
