I come bearing a story that might make you laugh, shake your head, or even drag me. 😂

So here goes:

My little baby was born on 12th May 2026. She's now at that stage where we're trying to teach her how to sit up on her own.

Now, instead of buying one of those expensive baby sitters or chairs, my family decided to go the "creative" route. We got a carton of Indomie noodles — you know, the big one — and we put her inside it. Just like a little nest! 😂

Why we did it:

· The carton provides support around her back and sides
· It keeps her from falling over
· And from my own understanding, she actually enjoys sitting in it! She smiles, plays with her toys, and doesn't cry to come out.

So far, it's working — but I know Nairalanders will have plenty to say! 🤣


Now, over to you:

· Is this a smart (cost-saving) idea or is it straight-up "village people" parenting?
· Has anyone else done something similar?
· Could this be harmful to her spine or development?

No, but there are effects. Housemates used it to troll Neo. During a particular task Biggie gave them to mimic each other, Lucy (a guest housemate) was mimicking Adekunle.

The housemate mimicking Neo was also mimicking an argument with the fake Adekunle (Lucy), who in a fake Adekunle voice, said something like "I don't even have your time Neo, let me just cool off by going to continue kissing your sister!". She actually didn't want to say "kiss", but Neo is her paddy so she toned it down.

The other housemates broke into laughter on hearing this. Neo was the only person not laughing, and it annoyed him more because Venita is his senior by many years, so he couldn't scold her or even complain to her about it.

It is all about decent upbringing, and influence. Some are going to be decently behaved,while some will be otherwise.

Even when you raise some kids in a certain way, one or two will go against/otherwise and will eventually grow with it. But, you won't because of that condemn that particular child.

Many things controls what happens between a man and woman in a setting.

Again, I'm calling it here - Ricky is going to win this show except he somehow gets a DQ. He's slowly making Sheba lose her temper and has finally given Oyin a potential real storyline better than copying Imisi and gossiping everywhere. The girl actually melted knowing Ricky sees her.

It's between him and Temi,but anyhow you see it, the Keivo thing isn't helping her, and it might get worse if she finally has sex with Tram, ruining the cute babygirl persona she is known for. It will make Tram more popular,but won't give him more votes. It will instead give Keivo more sympathy votes, even the girls in the house are feeling bad for him.
