Phones / Slim PS4 Images Leak Before Announcement by musa56(m): 5:56pm On Aug 22, 2016
We know Sony is having a PlayStation event next month on the 7th, where the company is expected to announced the update to the current PS4, the PlayStation "Neo". However, it seems Sony might have yet another console to announce that day.

Just like the PS2 and PS3 before it, the PS4 will soon be available in a slimmer variant. Unlike the Xbox One S that is drastically smaller than the Xbox One, the slim isn't significantly smaller, since the original PS4 is quite compact to begin with.

The new console features more rounded edges but maintains the slanted design of the current model, with the slit running alongside. On the front are mechanical keys for power and eject, with two USB ports. On the back are the power, HDMI, AUX, and Ethernet ports. Gone is the optical audio out port, which means the only way to get digital audio out of the PS4 now is through the HDMI connector. This is a rather annoying omission and would make some of the optical audio accessories incompatible.

Other than that the console seems to be identical. Unlike the Xbox One S, it doesn't seem like the slimmer PS4 has any additional capabilities such as 4K video support or HDR. The model in the leaked images has 500GB storage and it's likely this variant will be limited to this storage, with only the more expensive "Neo" model coming in higher capacity variants, although going by previous PlayStation designs it shouldn't be too difficult to replace the hard drive inside yourself.

That's all we know for now. We should find out more, including the price, which is likely going to be lower than the current PS4, during the event next month. Check the link below for way more images.

Phones / Re: How To Subscribe For MTN, Etisalat, Glo, Airtel Night Plan 2016 by musa56(m): 2:18pm On Aug 21, 2016
Good one @Rick9
Phones / How To Subscribe For MTN, Etisalat, Glo, Airtel Night Plan 2016 by musa56(m): 12:42pm On Aug 21, 2016
MTN NG NIGHT DATA PLAN
The cheapest MTN night plan is the 500mb for N25 plan which is also the most popular of the plans from the network. But there is a "condition" and that is; your SIM must be on the MTN Pulse tariff plan before you can enjoy this plan so if you are not very sure of your current tariff, kindly dial *123#* to check tariff plan. Then, you can migrate to MTN pulse by dialing *406#*

Then to subscribe for the N25 plan follow these steps;
=> Make sure you have at least N30 airtime in your balance
=> Send Night to 131 via text message
And you will receive a confirmation sms from mtn.

ETISALAT NIGHT PLAN
Many people have criticized Etisalat for offering the most expensive night plans ever when compared to what other networks are offering but they responded back by introducing a night plan that starts operation by 7PM to 6:59AM. (first of its kind). Yet it's not still perfect as customers expected more from them.

Although they started with the 1gb for N200 night plan usable from 12am midnight till 5am in the morning but now, they have improved on that by unveiling new packages. To subscribe for the 1gb for n200 plan, dial *229*3*11#.

Additionally the latest Etisalat ‪Weekend and "Night Plan"‬ which offers both night and weekend browsing plus 100mb for using WhatsApp is also available. There are two night plans in that order; see how to subscribe for them below:

Etisalat 2GB For N1000 Plan
To subscribe, dial *229*3*12# for 2GB evening & weekend plan @ N1,000 (7PM – 6:59AM) and the whole of weekend

Etisalat 5GB For N2000 Plan
To subscribe, dial *229*3*13# for 5GB evening & weekend plan @ N2000 (7PM – 6:59AM) and the whole of weekend PLUS 100MB whatsapp (24/7)

GLO NIGHT PLAN
Glo also offer both night and weekend data plans this means their night plan is also usable 24 hours at weekends. The Glo night plan is affordable but last for just 7 days. The night browsing starts from 12:30am in the night till 5:30am in the morning while on weekends, customers enjoy full day browsing starting from 12am on Saturdays till 11:59pm on Sunday.
The glo night data plan is N500 for 3GB, and while the data can't be shared, it can be gifted to anyone.

To subscribe to Glo weekend and night data plan dial *127*61#.
Alternatively, you can subscribe to glo data plan by just dialing *777# and follow the prompt in this manner [Data Services » Buy Data » Night and Weekend plans], then select 1 for Night plan or 2 for weekend plan.

AIRTEL NIGHT DATA PLAN
Arguably, Airtel offers the best and cheapest data plan at least for now. With just N25 and N50 respectively, you are connected to browse through the night on the network. Another advantage of airtel over its competitors is that their network is very fast in most areas making it easy for fast download and browsing all night.

Now here is a tip, do you know that you can resubscribe the same night after exhausting the allocated MB that same night? Yeaa it's possible with airtel night plan and that's why it rocks.

How To Subscribe/Activate Airtel #50 For 1.5GB and 500MB for #25 Night Plan
First of all you need to be in the airtel SmartTRYBE plan
To migrate to Airtel smartTribe, dial *312# then reply with 1

After that, you can now subscribe with any of the methodes below

First Method
Dial *312*3#

Second Method
=> Dial *312#
=> Then reply with 3 for 500MB for N25 and 1.5GB for N50 [Night Plan 12am - 5am]

Remember that all the above night plans works on all devices including Java phones, Symbian, Android, iPad, iPad, PC with no special settings.

Also night browsing is technically the best time to surf and download from the Internet as the browsing speed increases more than the day time were there are many traffics and congestion on the networks.

Have you used a night plan before? Which network night plan did you use? What is your experience with the service? Let's discuss via the comments sections. If you have any question, also ask and we will attend to you ASAP.

Phones / Check out Awesome Charger That Uses Your Breath To Charge Your iOS Device by musa56(m): 4:00pm On Aug 20, 2016
A new concept called the AIRE Mask has been created by João Paulo Lammoglia, and has been designed to convert wind energy created by your breath into energy to recharge your iOS devices. The AIRE Mask is equipped with small wind turbines that covert the users breath in to energy, and pass this on to the charge your device.

The AIRE charger has been created to be used in any situation, indoors or outdoors, and can be used whilst sleeping, walking, or running. Allows you to create energy simply from your breath. The AIRE Masks designer João Paulo Lammoglia explains:

“The consumerist tendencies of today’s industrialised society make the use of gadgets increasingly common, either by necessity or hobby. Though many of our gadgets offer benefits, they tend to consume a high amount of electrical energy. This may cause problems for the environment, especially if the energy used by these devices is derived from non-renewable sources.”

The AIRE is a Red Dot award design winner, but is still only a concept at the moment, and no details have been released as to whether the design will ever go in to production.
