Samsung just launched the Long anticipated (Galaxy Note7) which had alot of controversial specs rumors online, Finally Samsung decided to break the ice by launching the (Galaxy Note7) which by the way is one the best Smartphone out there, The Samsung (Galaxy Note7) came with alot awesome features.

The Samsung Galaxy Note7 stands at the heart of a multifaceted ecosystem that is supported by three pillars - business, games and multimedia.

The Galaxy Note7 wants to rule mobile gaming. VR especially, with a redesigned Gear VR. The phone supports the new Vulkan API, which is just starting to gain ground with PC games. As a nice bonus, you get $25 worth of "console-quality" games at launch.

On the business side, the improved S Pen collaborates with the Always-on screen for even easier note taking. The iris scanner works with KNOX and Samsung Pay to secure your data (both work and personal) and your money even tighter than before.

The Samsung Galaxy Note7 is a media creation and a consumption nexus too. It's one of few mobiles that can display HDR video (an up and coming tech for 4K TVs). With the Gear 360, it can also snap VR-ready panoramas too.

Other accessories come into play too. The phablet's 3,500mAh battery is paired with two new power saving modes and can use an optional wireless quick charger for quick cable-free top-ups. Active users have the Gear IconX wireless headphones and the Gear Fit 2 smart band to look forward to (and you can score the Fit 2 for free!). Also, the S Pen works underwater, so activities are not limited to dry land.

Yes, the Galaxy Note7 is the first Note to get waterproofed - it holds an IP68 certification.

Samsung's own research shows that Note owners use 50% more productivity and business apps than Galaxy S7 owners. And they consume 30% more multimedia. Let's see if the new Galaxy Note7 can live up to the magic created by its predecessors.

Facebook, Spotify and Clean Master are among the worst culprits for draining battery life from your Android phones but you probably already knew about those guys, right? So, which other apps are causing serious harm to your handsets standby times? Find out below.
ALSO READ: How to save battery life on ypur Android Device

If you want to use these apps, make sure you've got some spare juice.

1.SNAPCHAT

Snapchat might be a lot of fun but it also takes a lot of resources: both in terms of memory usage and battery life. This app is one of the worst offenders in this area and can consume much of your internal storage if you aren't careful .(Despite its reputation as the photo app where all photos are immediately deleted!)

Monitor the effect its having on your mobile data too by going to settings > mobile data. You might be surprised.

Snapchat? More like Crapchat.

2.NETFLIX

It shouldn't come as a surprise that Netflix consumes a huge amount of battery. Netflix is the go-to app for binge-watching TV shows and movies and it's your phone's display which consumes the majority of your devices power.

Consider watching with the display brightness turned down when you can. In your dark room at night, there really is no reason to have your display brightness at the maximum.

3.AMAZON SHOPPING

The Amazon Shopping app is a sneaky little battery drainer because it's quite unassuming. When I first read the report that suggested this was having a big impact on battery it seemed strange: others on the list cause lots of damage through heavy usage, Amazon Shopping can't be used that much, can it?

Two things. Firstly, Amazon's Shopping isn't incredibly well optimized for Android: relative time spent with the app compared to battery effect is generally higher than other apps.

Secondly, like weather and email apps, Amazon's Shopping app operates in the background so that it remains up to date with current offers and promotions. Combined, this leads to high battery usage. Speaking of email...

Amazon Shopping: a sneaky battery snatcher

4.OUTLOOK

The Outlook app is another juice guzzler. Whether we're checking it too frequently, or the email sync frequency is too high, Outlook is a threat to your power.

You don't actually need the Outlook app, though. You can use the default Android email app to retrieve those emails.

Ideally, you should only use one email app on our device and use it to manage all of your accounts. I mean, unless you want to sync Outlook with Google Calendar. In which case, yes, it's best to have the app.

Concerned about your device's battery life? Watch out for Outlook.

5.BBC NEWS

Well, the big news is that the BBC News app is a battery killer. This is a tricky one because people generally want access to news on a daily basis, and the BBC is generally a reliable place to get it.

But one simple and elegant solution is to uninstall the app and create a shortcut to the BBC News website on your homescreen. It provides essentially the same experience.

Phones / Why Smartphones Heat Up And Overheat, And How To Prevent It by musa56(m): 10:22pm On Jul 24, 2016
Smartphones will warm up from the moment you switch them on; this is unavoidable. But phone overheating can be a serious issue, damaging devices and affecting performance. What causes a smartphone to heat up, what causes it to overheat, and how can it be avoided?

WHY DO SMARTPHONES HEAT UP?
The answer lies in a basic property of physics: movement generates heat. Our smartphones have to physically move things around to work at all, so they have to generate heat. The amount of heat your smartphone produces is largely proportional to the amount of electricity moving through it. If you’re playing a game that demands a lot from your central and graphics processing units, both housed in a central system-on-a-chip (SoC), they will become warm, as they require more power to carry out their tasks.

Your phone becoming warm is no reason to worry, they’re designed to work that way, but if it becomes unpleasantly hot, you probably have cause for concern.
