Reporting live from the IB venue. Got there around 7.40am luckily applicants from my LG were very few as at the time I joined the queue so I was done with my registration almost as soon as I got there. At least there was no african time (maybe because they paid to use hotel hall...lol) but when I was given my placement pack lo and behold I realised it was the remaining placement packs from the job fair at port harcourt that they were reusing here. They just used marker to cover up a part. Already inside and waiting for them to start. Good thing the AC is strong.

If I were President Jonathan, I would have called on my NSA this morning after hearing of the death of the 40 student of the college of Agric Yobe to ask if he knew that was coming, if he says he had no idea i would probably have fired him right there. I would have cancelled the media chat in their honour. In fact I would have been in Yobe today to commiserate with the people and encourage them and give them hope that their suffering would soon end. If I am told I can't go there because of security reason, I would immediately fire all the service chiefs. Not to come and seat down smiling, laughing and further lying to Nigerians after losing 40 young lives in such tragic circumstance that clearly showed leadership failure.

And don't u guys knw dis same recruitment tin happened some months back and immigration came out open to say they knw noting abt it and dat it was a scam! The exert same episode is ongoing now and u are all taking d bait! Out of despiration, una dey dash money to dem. Bank will accept payment nau, afteral, there is commision on each payment, and even if d acct is frozen, dem go don make money too.abeg, make I put up my bank acct number here for una, incase una eye don clear and u want ur money back from dem, just pay 500 naira to my acct and I will muntiply it for u all in 5days. Smh! In short smd

submission of applications for recruitment into
various cadres in the Nigeria Immigration
Service as well as demanding for some amount of
money to be deposited into certain bank

The Comptroller-General of Immigration wishes
to re-iterate that the NIS is presently not carrying
out any recruitment exercise at any level.
Therefore, the CGI calls on members of the public
to be wary of the antics of these few fraudsters to
avoid falling prey to them.

whenever the Service will commence
