My Duplex's floor was not done before laying blocks, but they told me I can still do it later, which of course I intend to do too..

i filled the block holes with concrete, although that was not the intention but it work out just fine cos it was like filling a raft with concrete cement so the rest of the feeling just blended in naturally

While defending his quotation, my bricklayer cited the issue of fixing of doors, aluminum window frames & burglary proof for the reason of arriving at that price.

Can you please let me know how much was charged by your bricklayers for plastering of your house in & out.
I am undergoing a similar project of two flats building (One two & One three bedroom) and my bricklayer is charging 270k for the plastering of the two flats both in & out of which I think is on the high side.
Can you and other Nairalanders please advice if the price I am being charged is reasonable or not.

I paid 140k for everything. If the bricklayer is very good then his price is okay, considering the fact that u're talking about two buildings now

Give or take you should make your calculations should be between N4000 and N6000 per 100 blocks depending on ur negotiation skills and the area in particular. With this, u can generalize on any quantity of blocks u a have. Remain blessed

Man, if you even look further, am sure u might see for 800/sqm. I'd rather not work for you than you using police to look for me after cos of the discoloration and fading that will definitely occur as a result of buying inferior china aluminium. Brother, be wise with your money cos there are varieties according to your pocket which in turn has an adverse effect on the product purchased. For further clarification, pls use my contact. What you see is simply Aluminium and what we see here is what goes into producing that Aluminium. God bless you.

Prices for imported varies, depending on the make. Left to me, if tower can give u these prices, y den wld u need imported? Pls, treasure ur hard earned money nd stick to d best. TOWER is it.
