I intend applying on behalf of my mum for a UK visit visa to visit me. She has been denied before because the person who handled her application then messed up, made some silly mistakes: Changed the bookings of the hotel I booked to a different city entirely different from where I am staying in the UK (Glasgow to Belfast) and also made a spending calculation of 100k naira in her application when she had about 2M in her account. So the denial was valid based these reasons.

So my question, we intend using my dads account statement this time around, and he has written a sponsor letter stating hes sponsoring all her expenses (flight cost, spending money and application fees). should he include a specific amount in the letter? do I need to include my mums account statement and payslips in the application? my dad visit the UK regularly, do I need to include a copy of his visa page in her application?

Nice work guys,I've been following this thread intently. I need some clarification and advise concerning schooling in the UK. I got a partial tuition fee waiver(left with £6000). How feasible is it to coup with accommodation and also pay-off my remaining tuition through part-time jobs? I am currently studying in Glasgow, and to be candid, it is very difficult to sustain your self on partime jobs especially if you depend fully on it. My sincere advice, have your fees intact, some money for expenses (about 3k pounds) before coming, so any job you take will be a topup for maintenance till the end of your programme. 20hrs might get you a reasonable amount like you calculated, but consider exams, coursework, classes, group work and importantly REST.....

Hello, I have been following this thread for a while. First ever post. I picked up my teir 4 visa today at ikeja, with my wife's too, despite she has been denied a visit visa before. Applied on d 3rd of august. Please anybody going to Glasgow? I am getting a flat so I need a flat mate, I previously studied there..so I can easily get a flat. Thanks to everybody
