Responsible government should have reduced the duty on importation of the essential goods but instead increase the duty through exchange rate adjustment. The truth is that the government is insensitive to the plight of the people hence they also want to take full advantage of the whole situation by removing all forms of protections on the economy, no regulation, no control, free for all. Common man is left to die

I agree with you in part, however the unbanning of those 43 items was appropriate in that it would reduce the demand from parallel market and everyone could rely on official sources....on checkmating round tripping,it's not easy for any govt to do....u are talking about institutional corruption even the almighty America hasn't been able to stop drug trade or even smuggling despite their huge resources.

I even opine that the govt hasn't been drastic enough on the racketeers but are using subtle ways to by providing liquidity in the official space through banks and registered BDCs and track every dollar.
