NYSC › Re: NYSC State Allowee Amount In All States In Nigeria by Mykunlex: 4:02pm On May 03, 2017 |
corpersforum: Although the constitution do not say that each states should pay Corp members but at least, what is good is good. Corpers are serving their father land on a strange land and environment. The states Governments have the ability to be paying some certain amounts at least to encourage the youths.
When i was posted to Plateau State to serve my father land, i was very happy because i thought that Corpers serving in Plateau state will enjoy so many goodies.
I thought to myself that that the person who established NYSC General Yakubu Gowon was born in Kanke, a Local government in Plateau state. However, i was not only disappointed, i was mesmerized when i actually discover it’s otherwise.
Apart from the #19,800 by the federal government, the state Government is also responsible at least a little for Corp members. Some states see it as a development to be paying Corpers serving in the state, why some states don't just care at all. The list might not be 100% accurate, because changes is very effective in Nigeria as people change things anyhow.
I compiled a list of states in Nigeria and how much they are paying corp members serving under them. let’s take a look at the lists below:
NOTE: If any of these amounts does not tally with what they are paying you, please don’t be angry, just indicate below and we will make the correction.
1. Abia Sate Pays #5, 000 2. Adamawa State 3. Anambra state 4. Akwa Ibom State Pays #10, 000 5. Bauchi State Pays #1, 250 6. Bayelsa State Pays #3, 500 7. Benue State 8. Borno State Pays #1, 000 9. Cross River State Pays #3, 090 10. Delta State Pays #5, 000 11. Ebonyi State 12. Enugu Pays #10, 000 13. Edo 14. Ekiti pays #5, 000 15. Gombe 16. Imo Pays #2, 000 17. Jigawa Pays 10, 000 18. Kaduna Pays #3, 000 19. Kano Pays #10, 000 20. Katsina 21. Kebbi 22. Kogi 23. Kwara 24. Lagos pays #15, 000 and sometimes #10,000 to the first 2,000 corpers posted to the state. 25. Nasarawa Pays 3, 000 26. Niger Pays #6, 000 27. Ogun #5, 000 28. Ondo 29. Osun Pays #5, 000 30. Oyo Pays #3, 800 31. Plateau 32. Rivers 33. ufondunenye: I don't really get that, but what I can tell you is that when it comes to PPA,private firms are always quick to accept coppers(i.e if they have space for you oo) more than government firms, govt can delay hell out of you. I could remember when I was in camp earlier this year,i was asked to go and get anywhere I want to serve by someone I know in camp,so a friend of mine that was also following me in camp begged me to help her out,so my aunt asked her to get hers, she got hers, private firm and I got mine, federal ministry. But could you believe that she was accepted that very day that we came out from camp, while it took the ministry 3 good weeks to accept me. The protocols in govt firms are always much, you have to wait till your file goes from one office to another, before they will finally accept you. in private firm or let me say private schs dey wil accept u shap shap but Govt may giv u little prob, but if d state is payin state allawi dos in private sector wil nt recive cos dey beliv dat d private sector dey ar workin for will takcare of dem. Lik nasarawa wer am currently servin pay 5k but dos of us in private sch didnt av acces to dat 5k but any private sch must pay at least 5k wit accomodation. If nt d LI wil repost dat copa to anoda beta place.... |

tibaonnet: This is only meant for people who were offered admission by the institutions & not through Jamb. For them to have Jamb admission letter their institutions have to provide them Jamb no through Jamb & students need to use the Jamb no to regularise their admission. If you were offered admission in your institution through Jamb you dont need to do this, if you already have your Jamb admission letter, you dont need this too. However, to be double sure you can verify your admission status from Jamb website using your Jamb no. i tryd to check my admison tru jame site wit my jamb reg numb and it display my admison status but in d place of picture. It said candidate av no passport. Hope dat wil nt affect? |
