So whom does its datalink communicate with? ISTAR includes enemy target acquisition for army formations on the ground, that is the meaning of TA in ISTAR.
So, whom does the Beechraft datalink communicate enemy target positions to, it communicates with itself?
Fool of Soweto.

That will only be partial. It won't communicate with all systems. The enemy that ATR can see cannot be seen by other aircrafts at the same time dummy. You don't have TDL/MTN.

How can an ISTAR aircraft be limited to itself you fool? You mean the datalink sends data from the aircraft back to itself only? Have you seen an aircraft comunicating to itself, by sending the messages from itself back to itself? Fool !

Meaning it cannot pass information to other platforms in real time nor even communicate with other platforms and see what other platforms see in real time.

No TDL, ZERO MTN.

Badger is a bad obsolete IFV configuration dated 15 years old doctrine.

A standard Badger IFV has only one major weapon, 30 mm cannon with slow rate of fire.

A standard BTR-4 has many weapons combined together on ONE SINGLE VEHICLE altogether at the same time , anti-tank missiles + 30 mm cannon + 30 mm Grenade launcher.....modern IFV configuration.

Nigeria has the most advanced IFV in Africa from Cape Town to Cairo

SA badger will all use modern tech systems and will be unique in its own league.
Foreign Affairs / Re: Who Has The Strongest Military In Africa? by mzilakazi(m): 7:17pm On Jan 05, 2016
South Africa has monopoly of the highest military technology, that is TDL and MTN in Africa.

Beechcraft has inbuilt datalink, I posted the manufacturer specs here many times last year.

Having inbuilt data link does not mean it has TDL or is connected to MTN (Multi-Tactical Network). The platform is limited only to itself.

SANDF has both TDL and MTN to even integrate beechcraft to the network-LINK ZA.

NAF has both Beechcraft transport and surveillance versions in service.
Nigerian Beechcraft 350ER has been proved to be ISTAR many times repeatedly on this forum.
I wont waste my time in 2016 repeating old stuff.

Naija has no data link. Your ISTAR without data link is limited.

Data link is a computer communication software NOT a weapon you mumu !

That is just a metaphor. Data link is a weapon such that without it weapons literally become ineffective and inefficient.

Is data link a weapon? Egyptian Rafales will kill SANDF and kill all yõur datalink when 1.5 million soldiers surround yöur 50,000 SANDF tiny army.

YES IT IS. WITHOUT DATALINK ALL PLATFORMS CANNOT SEE THE SAME ENERMY AT THE SAME TIME. IT GIVES YOU ADVANTAGE OVER YOUR ENEMY.

WITH EGYPT, IF ONE RAFALE SEES THE ENEMY OTHERS SEE NOTHING.

Prove they don't have, prove it.

You were supposed to give me the name of Egyptian DATA LINK. NATO does not want to sell it like they sell Rafales. They know well that Datalink is the most dangerous weapon that can even help other countries to pose threat to NATO countries.

Data link was the sole west monopoly until SA cracked it and introduce their own, LINK ZA.

Egypt does not have a data link and all their platforms cannot see one enermy at the same time.

Egypt produces missiles, tanks, and jet engines. So how is SA better, you build complete tanks?

DEFENCE INDUSTRY IS THE SOURCE OF WEAPONS.

So analog tech has become as advanced as digital just because it is a South African analog obsolete platform? You guys are the same people posting photos of F-7 computers and Gripen computers to prove whole cockpit is obsolete....now you all gone mäd to praise analog equipment....honesty is impossible to find in South Africa.

Technological experts will tell you that analog remains the most reliable masterpiece in the world.

SOUTH AFRICA HAS MONOPOLY OF DATA LINK IN AFRICA.

Most powerful, Egypt....24 Rafale jets, about 150 F-16s and about 50 Apaches helicopters, nqvy of many frigates and most advanced submarines in Africa, army of 30,000 APCs, IFVs, tanks, artillery, missiles, 1.5 million soldiers. OVERWHELMING FORCE.

Most advanced is hard to judge because Egypt, Algeria, Nigeria, Morroco, South Africa have different areas of military edge in technology.

Egypt's Rafale is the most advanced jet figther in Africa.

Egypt's Type 209 is the most advanced submarine in Africa

Egypt's E-3 AWACS is the most advanced and only AWACS aircraft in Africa

Morocco's FREMM frigate is the most advanced warship in Africa

Algeria's T-90 tank is the most advanced in Africa

Algeria's Pantsir SAM is rhe most advanced short range mobile air defence system in Africa

Algeria's S-400 SAM is the most advanced long range air defence system in Africa

Algeria's Yak-130 is the most advanced jet trainer in Africa

Nigeria's ATR-42 is the most advanced MPA+ISR aircraft in Africa

Nigeria's Beechcraft 350 ER is the most advanced ISTAR aircraft in Afica

Nigeria's BTR-4E is the most advanced IFV in Africa

Nigeria's Falcon Eye coastal surveillance system is the most advanced in Africa

Nigeria's CH-3 guided missile drone is the most advanced in Africa.

South Africa, I will like the Southies to list for us their equipment names that are currently in service (Not in laboratory or under testing/development stage) and are the most advanced in their class in Africa.....

#EMOTIONS ARE FEELINGS NOT FACTS
.

SOUTH AFRICA HAS THE MOST ADVANCED DEFENCE INDUSTRY IN AFRICA.

The portuguese government rountinely laundered equipment for the Afrikanner government.

How is the SANDF more advanced than the Nigerian military, you are yet to prove this.

Portuguese government is even inferior to SA military technology man.

We are superior to Naija military in every respect.

It doesn't. 80% of all components used in the South-African defence industry is imported from Europe.

The Defence Industry doesn't equal the SANDF.

Prove how the SANDF is more technologically advanced than the Nigerian military.

The fact that we are able to deploy mobile state-of-the-art all. Weather, Day and Night surveillance systems proves we are more advanced in that aspect.

Again, you are yet to prove you are more technologically advanced than Nigeria

Nigeria import military technology and can't even maintain it.

They cannot even integrate their technology because they have zero data link.

Please provide evidence which shows that the SANDF is more technologically advanced than the Nigerian military.

SANDF is using equipments which are by far more technologically advanced that those of Nigerian military. Moreover, we develop and maintain our tech and weapons.

America in the past long before your debacle and abuses of human rights by Nigerian troops refused to sell Nigeria advanced weapons citing that Nigeria has no skill and tech to operate and even to maintain American technology. America surely could never say that to SA because they know that we compete effectively in the world stage rega regarding military.technology.

Analog =\= Advanced

The world has moved to digital but that does not rule out analog to be antique and not advanced. There are many analog equipments which are technologically advanced in their own league. Wise people still keep analog to this day because is reliable. Digital has its own technological challenges.

SA GOVERNMENT= SANDF= DENEL.

Remember Denel hardwares frustrated Russian weapons for almost 20 years in Angola. That same South African defence industry supplied SADF with weapons throughout the battle and it was equal to SADF.

Nigeria exports Oil-Platforms, Submersibles, Vessels, Fire-Floats, Floating cranes, production platforms. That's final, not the gibberish you are spewing.

So, MTN fine worth N1.04 trillion is just 8X more than all the exports you mentioned above. Now, I see.
