Last week we learned that the Redmi Note 9 series launch event will take place on March 12 at an online-only event. We also saw the phone in a Geeekbench listing which revealed 6GB RAM, Android 10 and an unannounced chipset bearing the "curtana" moniker. Now, noted tipster Ishan Agarwal came through with some more details on the hotly anticipated midranger. The Note 9 Pro is expected to come with a 6.67" LCD display of FHD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It will have a 16MP selfie cam while around the back will sit 48MP main shooter, 8MP ultrawide snapper, 5MP macro cam and a depth helper. The Snapdragon 720G SoC is tipped to sit at the helm with 4/6GB RAM while storage options will be 64GB and 128GB. Battery-wise we should expect a 5,020mAh cell with 18W charging speeds. The Redmi Note 9 Pro will come in Aurora Blue, Glacier White and Interstellar Black color options. As usual, we'll make sure to update you once more info emerges.

A few days ago HMD announced that its first 5G phone will be used in the next Bond movie 'No Time To Die' and today we get a quick glimpse of that phone thanks to a newly published trailer. Seen below is a screengrab from the upcoming second trailer for 'No Time To Die' in which Agent 007 is talking on the yet-to-be announced Nokia smartphone. https://fdn.gsmarena.com/imgroot/news/20/03/nokia-8-2-5g-bond-trailer/-727/gsmarena_001.jpg This is very likely the Nokia 8.2 5G, which will become official on March 19 in London. The movie is also expected to feature the Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 3310 4G, when it premieres in November. https://fdn.gsmarena.com/imgroot/news/20/03/nokia-8-2-5g-bond-trailer/-727/gsmarena_002.jpg The Nokia 8.2 5G will be powered by a Snapdragon 765G and will have a triple camera on the rear along with a fingerprint scanner. |

After updating its flagship lineup to the latest Android version, Samsung is now extending the Android 10 rollout to its mid-range smartphones. The Samsung Galaxy A30 in India and Galaxy A50s in Vietnam are now receiving the stable Android 10 update along with One UI 2.0. Both devices were promised to get the One UI 2.0 based update and were part of Samsung’s 2020 update roadmap, and today the company is finally making good on its promise. The Galaxy A30 update carries build number A305FDDU4BTB3 and is 1.4GB in size. On the other hand, the Android 10 update for the Galaxy A50s carries software version A507FNXXU3BTB. The update includes all the standard Android features such as a system-wide dark mode, new navigation gestures, improved Digital Wellbeing tools with parental controls, and more. On top of that, users can also look forward to One UI 2.0 specific additions like a built-in screen recorder, a new Quick Settings panel layout, improved system icons, improved system colors, a redesigned camera app, and a whole lot more. https://www.xda-developers.com/files/2020/02/Galaxy-a30-android-10.jpg Since this is a staged software rollout, the update may take some time to reach all devices, so don’t worry if you’re not seeing any update notification just yet. Other notable Samsung phones scheduled to receive the Android 10 update in the next few months include the Galaxy M40, Galaxy A50, Galaxy A70, Galaxy A70s, Galaxy Fold, Galaxy M30s, and Galaxy Tab S6, just to name only a few. To check whether your Galaxy phone is slated to receive Android 10, refer to this list. Launched back in February of 2019, the Galaxy A30 is a lower mid-range smartphone from Samsung, featuring a 6.4-inch AMOLED display, Exynos 7904 SoC, dual cameras, and a 4,000 mAh battery. The Galaxy A50s, on the other hand, belongs to Samsung’s upper mid-range lineup. It was announced in September last year and packs a 6.4-inch full HD+ display, Exynos 9611 SoC, triple rear cameras, and a 4,000 mAh battery with fast charging support. Both devices were launched with Android 9 Pie out of the box. |
One of the best ways to completely change-up the look of your home screen is by using an Icon Pack. There are literally thousands of Icon Packs available in the Google Play Store. It can be near impossible to find a truly great pack. We’ll help you get started with 10 top-notch Icon Packs that can jazz up any home screen.
