rapistbuhari:
I blame the Ijaw who gave strangers that migrated from yoruba land an empathetic settlement in warri.

Now they are claiming to be the owners of your table land. A tribe whose entire population is not up to 300,000 now claiming warri.

They are number 1, in the list of those who sabotage our effort for equity closely followed by the Urhobo.

However, it is worthy of note that their threats are empty. If they like, let them stay behind.

We are heading towards freedom. And will surely get there

Itsekiris have No Exclusive Right to any land in Delta because they share same with Ijaws and Urhobos especially Warri even as you have Olu of Itsekiri.

If itsekiris are not comfortable with Niger Delta Avengers please let them flock off to Ogun state
Go and get your fact right. Ijaws own no land in Warri. One day we will take back from them what they have taken by force.
The law is there http://ngr.ng/who-own-gbaramatu-enclave-in-warri-kingdom/
You can read and check all the sighted cases.

Tell your people to stop breaking pipeline in Warri. Common criminals.

Peculiarperson, this is a sacrilegious post you have made here.

Obviously you are very ignorant of the Itsekiri tradition of selecting kings.

Do not spread preemptive lies and falsehood about Itsekiri.

You are obviously an outcast.

You made us to believe that you saw this post and made it here. But we know that it's a lie.

This is a previous post made by you even before the selection process.

You are on your own. We will get you. We know who you are.

Interesting. So the Itsekiri are part of Yoruba assembly?

forgiveness:
Yoruba Assembly tells Jonathan 0
BY OUR REPORTER ON MARCH 20, 2015 POLITICS
From OLUSEYE OJO, Ibadan

Yoruba leaders led by former Chief of Defence Staff, Gen Alani Akinrinade (retd), yesterday, told President Godoluck Jonathan that Yoruba people would not accept an Interim National Government (ING), Government of National Unity (GNU) or any other form of unelected government.

They demanded that this year’s general elections must hold as re-scheduled on March 28 and April 11, insisting also that the exercise must be free, fair, credible, and transparent.

Yoruba leaders made the call at the Yoruba Assembly entitled: “Yoruba People: Our Aspirations and Minimum Demands from the Central Government of Nigeria”, which was convened by Akinrinade at Ibadan.

A communique issued at the end of the conference reads in part: “Yoruba people hereby state categorically that the general elections scheduled to commence on Saturday, March 28, 2015 must not be postponed or jeopardised. Yoruba people will not countenance any form of unelected government, be it Government of National Unity, Interim National Government or howsoever described.”

The leaders warned that the over 50 million population of Yoruba people would not hesitate to take their destiny in their own hands in the event of any attempt to compromise their democratic existence.

The summit was attended by leaders of Yoruba nation, current and past governors of Yoruba States, traditional rulers and their representatives, officials of various civic and professional agencies of Yoruba extraction at home and in the diaspora.

They include vice presidential candidate of the All Pprogressives Congress (APC), Prof Yemi Osinbajo; governors Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State and Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State; former governors of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi and Otunba Niyi Adebayo; a prominent Itsekiri leader in Delta State, Chief Rita Lori-Ogbebor; former governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola; and former military governor of Mid-Western State, Gen Samuel Ogbemudia (retd).

The Yoruba Assembly also frowned on the protest staged by thousands of Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) members and the Coalition of Concerned Nigerians loyal to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Monday in Lagos against the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof Attahiru Jega..

why do you guys just love creating very stupid and senseless thread sef......itsekiri is a tribe on is own.....
I don't think Itsekiri is a tribe of his own. Check out the following:

Their Ancestral town is called - ODE ITSEKIRI

Their King is called - Olu or Oba

80% of their language have same meaning with Yoruba same words.
PoliticsThe Death Of Olu Of Warri And The Ownership Of Warri by Naija3am(op):
When Warri kingdom announced the death of the Olu of Warri yesterday, alot of questions run through my mind. Most paramount among them is the issue of the Ownership of Warri.

I was thinking of how the Itsekiri, a Yoruba tribe can really be the owners of Warri in Delta State, it was not until i ran into this article today on who owns warri http://ngr.ng/who-owns-warri-and-the-olu-of-warri-title/ that i begin to understand how Itsekiri may really be the true owners of Warri.

Unfortunately alot of Yoruba do call the itsekiris Omo Ibo out of ignorance.

Can someone throw more light of the ownership of warri and also why the itsekiri are Yoruba?
