A 32-year-old suspected drug trafficker, Obiefuna Ndulue, has died after some capsules used to pack substance that tested positive for cocaine burst in his stomach.

The deceased was said to have slumped at the departure hall of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja and was rushed to a hospital within the facility.

It was learnt that Ndulue, who hailed from Anambra State, had wanted to travel via the Ethiopian airline to China.

PUNCH Metro gathered that 55 wraps of cocaine, weighing 1.2 kilogrammes were evacuated from the suspect’s stomach after he was stabilised at the hospital.

The Lagos-based trader was said to have confessed to an operative of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency that he had wanted to smuggle the drug. He reportedly died while receiving treatment.

Our correspondent learnt that the agency also arrested a 46-year-old businessman, Bamidele Ibiteye, for allegedly laundering $2,198,900 (about N440m).

It was learnt that the money was impounded from Ibiteye at the local wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, as he wanted to board a flight en route to Abuja.

Ibiteye, who runs a company, ND&C Global Investment Limited, told investigators that the money belonged to a medical practitioner in the state, identified as Thomas Martins.

The suspect, however, declined to reveal the identity of the person who was to receive the money.

The NDLEA Commander at the NAIA, Mr. Hamisu Lawan, confirmed Ndulue’s death.

He said, “The deceased collapsed at the departure hall. He collapsed after he notified the airline officials of his intention to cancel his trip. About 55 wraps of substances that tested positive for cocaine with a total weight of 1.20kg was evacuated from his stomach.

“The suspect confessed to cocaine ingestion. He later died while receiving treatment.”

The spokesperson for the NDLEA, Mitchell Ofoyeju, confirmed Ibiteye’s arrest, adding that the money had been recovered.

He said, “The $2,198,900 was seized from Ibiteye by anti-narcotic officials on the grounds of suspected money laundering at the local wing of the MMA2, Lagos. The suspect was apprehended on his way to Abuja and he is being investigated in connection with the case.”

It was gathered that the NDLEA Chairman, Ahmadu Giade, had directed that the suspect and the exhibit be transferred to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for further investigation.

Overall grade :You need to rewrite the songs into parts(structure) and look for a better producer

To be honest you need more time to define what you actually want to be..
Please dont see this as too harsh but the truth.Many people has talent but not everybody will sing.You can be writing songs for others to sing.
The producer only took your money.Its really a no no..I cant grade it..

Song Chorus :100% nice,Catchy an Sticky..meaning its easy to remember and recite.
Song composition: 40 % ..I dont know which part you took but the rap is really whack and the rapper needs more practice and probably needs a style.At around 2:44 the rapper doesn't know what to say again .

You/Your cousin needs to probably take the song to a better producer who can do well with beats and mixing.Add heavy kicks and subs (good for club)..And if you paid the producer no need to say his name..You wasted 18 Sec on that..An average human has less than 10 Sec to change his/her mind.once the beat drops start the flow leave all those shoutout for your outro..

The Olorunsogo Power Plant commissioned in Ogun state on Thursday by President Goodluck Jonathan, as part of vote-winning gimmicks that his government has done something for the South West people, was commissioned by former President Olusegun Obasanjo in 2007, eight years ago.
The Obasanjo administration actually built many of the gas-powered plants across the country, or awarded the contracts for them. They are now being commissioned by the Jonathan administration. The Olorunsogo plant, not far away from the industrial complex of Sango-Ota Farm, Ewekoro Cement and the Obasanjo Farms, was among the plants that were ready before Obasanjo left office in May 2007. And he cut the ceremonial tape to declare it open.
The plant, with eight turbines, could not produce much power, because there of inadequate gas supply.
Thanks to Okeke Godwin Iyke, we now publish the photograph of the former president commissioning the plant.PM News could however not verify the picture of Obasanjo commissioning the same Olorunsogo Power Plant as at the time of filing this report.

I am not an advocate for any of the states concerned but it will not be right to think of the population,land value and the economy of the Nigerian states you are comparing with Ethiopia, Ethiopia is like a 5th world country.And is FG paying compensations?,where houses affected on FG's projects?.The value of the property affected in Lagos State would be more than those in PH and Ethiopia.We should try and reason logically and not with sentiments.
