The completed 15-storey Medical Research Centre at Umuchukwu community in Orumba South Local Government, Anambra State, built by Dr Godwin Maduka.

The completed 15-storey building project, was funded solely by Dr Godwin Maduka, the Chief Executive Officer and Medical Director of the Las Vegas Pain Institute and Medical Centre, the largest pain treatment centre in Nevada, USA.

The rural community with just 3000 inhabitants will become the hub of medical research in the country and African continent.

Thousands of people have reportedly stormed the house of Senator Bukola Saraki, Nigeria’s Senate President, just to receive a cup of rice and N200.

According to a Facebook user who shared the post on his wall, the people trekked several kilometres to collect this food item and there was a massive queue at the collection point.

He described this act as that of poverty which showed just how much the people in the state must have been suffering despite the fact that the Senate President is from their state.

The man identified as Ademorin Scholar, wrote: “SENATE PRESIDENT, BUKOLA SARAKI HOME STATE, KWARA STATE IS THE ONE OF THE MOST IMPOVERISHED STATE IN NIGERIA.

“I WANT YOU TO SEE THE CLEAR PICTURE OF POVERTY CREATED BY SARAKI FAMILY IN KWARA STATE. THESE WOMEN ARE STRUGGLING TO COLLECT A CUPFUL SACHET OF RICE AND #200 AFTER TREKKED 5 KILOMETERS JOURNEY TO THE VENUE.

The company added through its blog post that despite it was a tough decision for them to make, but still the right one in order to provide better service and better ways to keep in touch with your family, friends and loved ones using Whatsapp.

Therefore if your phone falls within the stated range, you are advised to either upgrade to the newer version of Andriod, iPhone, Window or get newer ones before the due date.

As we look ahead to our next seven years, we want to focus our efforts on the mobile platforms the vast majority of people use. So, by the end of 2016, we will be ending support for WhatsApp Messenger on the following mobile platforms:

– BlackBerry OS and BlackBerry 10
– Nokia S40
– Nokia Symbian S60
– Android 2.1 and Android 2.2
– Windows Phone 7
– iPhone 3GS/iOS 6

While these mobile devices have been an important part of our story, they don’t offer the kind of capabilities we need to expand our app’s features in the future.

This was a tough decision for us to make, but the right one in order to give people better ways to keep in touch with friends, family, and loved ones using WhatsApp. If you use one of these affected mobile devices, we recommend upgrading to a newer Android, iPhone, or Windows Phone before the end of 2016 to continue using WhatsApp.

Following the capture of Boko Haram Ground Zero in the Sambisa Forest, the Nigerian Army has announced that, Sambisa Forest will serve as military training camp for its troops from 2017.

The infamous Boko Haram Ground Zero in the deadly Sambisa Forest was finally captured on Thursday, December 22nd following an offensive action by over 4200 troops.

It is not easy been a soldier!! We have cloth in our wardrobes but the nature of the job leaves no chance to wear them!! Patrol and escort both in the summer and winter dressing combatantly everyday like an astonaut while others are asleep we are awake... While you drink table water and beverages in your homes, we manage water in the jungle we do this just to suppress terrorism!!!

You lay on beds at night while we lay on tents and trench... While you think of how to embazzle funds we think of how to attack external forces!!! It is a work to God and humanity. You fucking scream when you are cut by blade we endure when we are hit by a bullet!!! When a soldier die, they dont take it as anything.... To them it is a normal thing!!! A signed letter from boxing Legend Muhammad Ali to former South African President Nelson Mandela offering his condolences on the death of an anti-apartheid leader has sold for £7,200.

Auctioneer Andrew Aldridge said: “It’s fair to say Mohammad Ali was the greatest sportsman of all time and Nelson Mandela was one of the greatest figures of the last century.”
