Dear Health professionals in the house, I’ve seen you help other people and I hope you can help me too. Thank you. So about four months ago, I started to feel some pain in my right lower abdomen. In addition, my stomach was always noisy, making certain gbr-gbr sound even hours after I’d eaten. Sometimes, it even felt like some part of the food I’d recently eaten was stuck in my throat. I went to the hospital to complain and the doctor said that it might be my appendix; that he might have to remove it, although he pointed out that a swollen appendix was not known to cause noisy stomach, that that was how stomachs of adult men behaved. I’m thirty, by the way. Anyway, he sent me for a scan but that showed that my appendix was not the problem. Because of that, he did not perform the surgery. He gave me some drugs to use for ten days. If the symptoms persisted, I would have to come back to the hospital for the surgery (an appendectomy). After ten days, the symptoms persisted but I did not go back to the hospital because I was certain the problem wasn’t my appendix. But one day, as I was walking about the house, it seemed to me that something broke and something liquid-like substance poured down that right side of my lower abdomen, like I was sweating inside there. I may be wrong about something having ruptured but it was how I felt. Anyway, I rushed down to the hospital and the appendectomy was finally carried out. What I was shown as my removed appendix wasn’t even swollen to begin with, confirming my fears that it hadn’t been my appendix all along. Now, it’s been more than a month and two weeks since the surgery but I don’t think anything has changed. In fact, in addition to the lower part of my right abdomen, I now feel the pain in the left side, sometimes in the upper middle part of my abdomen. None of this pain is constant. It comes and goes. It rarely lasts more than a minute before its gone. But the noisy stomach is consistent, even louder. And there seems to be too much heat in the lower left and right side of my abdomen, sometimes, it’s as if there’s movement there, as if I’m sweating inside. After eating, I still feel like some food is stuck in my throat. Sometimes, I feel a slight pain in my intestines. My stomach region seems to be carrying too much heat. Needless to say, I’m scared. Is there anyone that can be of help? Thank you. Mynd44 Lalasticlala |
He got 23 out of 40. He gave it to his people then. But no noise, we are one Nigeria. Out of 109 senators, one person gets 23. Twenty-three. This country is a joke. |
