Itsrm: Juicy offers in the secondary market don't stay open for long before they are snipped.
You'll need to be very lucky but you can try with FBN or Stanbic. Ask what they have available in the secondary market. I got 21% from First bank Secondary market on Monday. |

dauntless15: Yea I know that, but it should be worth it naw, 200k is not a good enough reason to tie 1million down a whole year in the name of investing, banks are stingy sha. This investment tools are not for poor people. Let's Imagine you have 100m naira. That gives you 20m for 20%. If you reinvest the 20m at 20%. That gives you 4million. If you reinvest the 4million at 20% you get 800,000k So in total you get close to 25million on your 100million investment in a year. Now tell me, is 25m a year not good enough? Risk free! |

youngestland: OMO do not make one get HBP.. but is it possible for FGN to still exist and they owe us money without paying us forever i dont think so o
Well i have sent the mail to sell my bonds let see the offer i get first CBN and CSCS are the ones in control of coupon payments, I am less worried. Also Nigeria’s first domestic USD bond sets new milestone as United Capital raises $900m. With this news, I think there is still a trust in the system. |

IYGEAL: Last month's payments were delayed, yes.
That's my opinion too. If happened last month and they didn't fix it and still allowed it to happen this month, then something must be wrong somewhere. On the DMO page on Twitter, I have seen couple of comments concerning the July 24 coupon. I am sure they can see it also. It's sending wrong Signal to investors. Right now I won't be investing in any Nigerian investment till further notice even though there hasn't been any defaults. |
Investment › Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Nakedman: 9:07am On Sep 23, 2024 |
youngestland: Paid too but it is like DMO paid only 1 set leaving other sets this is still a place of concern o
Please guys what is the worst that can happen cos I have made up my mind to give mandate to my broker to sell all 4 of my FGNSBs. The worst that could happen is we are bleeped if no coupons. |
