At least 6.25kva will do, that's 5000/5500W (run/start). With the current situation of Nigeria, expect to double your budget.

Stanbic MMF has drop from 15.49% to 13.46%..
Why?

Tbills still at 20%

MMF is a vehicular cheat code IYKYK!

To some extent. Imagine rate falls back to 10% today. Mutual funds also goes back to 10%. But the Treasury bill or Bonds will continue reading at 20%. You just have to place your eggs in different basket and position yourself dearly. grin grin grin grin

Quite interesting. The funny thing is we have no idea how long this high interest rate will last. Locking down for 2-3years seems like a good option. But inflation is starting at you ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

I just checked now. It went through. Good one from stanbic. They first refunded the total sum, before deducting the face value, leaving the interest.

Enjoy.

I haven't bought T-Bills in a long time now, does any one mind answering these?:
1. Do banks now accept bids below 50m for PMAs?
2. That would mean I have to go with the bank's rate for bids below 50m yes?

Just go with the bank rate. You should be able to get 20%.

Stanbic 364 days failed. I have been refunded. You can check your account balance too.

Did you check again?

safex:

Same with Zenith Bank. How come we got 20% when the stop rate is 21%, or am I missing something

The bank bidded 20%. So even if rates go as high as 25%, They only get 20%. but if they bid above the stop rate, it fails. In my form i went with bank rate, so there it is.

Ok we are waiting....

Are you telling me 1,600 /USD is the true value of naira?

You guys will learn honestly.

Buying at even 1k /USD will still end in premium tears.

Take a look at NIgeria in a whole
economy, trade, exports, commerce, employment not forgetting Oil theft. Not until Nigeria makes a UTurn in the aforementioned, Naira will fall. When CBN is done selling all the dollars. We shall see. Keeps your Dollars.

You understand the scope.

Lots of people that could not pay their children in US, UK and Canada schools school fees cant wait for cheaper dollar to pile up more. If they ever see it as low as 700 again, they will take loans to buy up dollars.

Until the government starts taking action to develope and deepen the economy, they are just doing bonanza....

You know the game.

Lol
Dey whine yourself

You will all learn

Let's wait and see. This is a long term game. Economics doesn't care about your feelings. As an investor, you have to learn the game.

The free fall of naira was artificial and based on market sentiments it will settle between 800 and 900.

Naira has been devalued, I doubt it will ever go back to that price. But let us wait and see. Still 1310 as this morning, 1275 this afternoon.
Investment / Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by Nakedman: 5:18pm On Mar 28
Streetinvestor2:
It will settle at 1k for some reasonable time to drink water. Then when fiscal policies begin to yeild good results it will push down more to around #800.What I am sure is speculators will learn the hard way. After this if they hear dollars na run,lol

I like your confidence ๐Ÿคฃ. As a business man at heart, I am keeping enough naira aside to purchase as much dollars as possible if it ever comes back to that range..

My buys will start from 1k if it ever drops down there. Until then fingers crossed.

As long as CBN is subsidizing dollars, it will fall.
The subsidy is coming from the FX reserves.
Oil theft is on high rate

Na wa ooo. So for like 3 auctions now consecutively FBN has not had a successful bid. Na to begin overlook them and pull out funds to other serious banks being that ooo.

What could be wrong with them? They used to be good when it comes to primary Auctions

Entanglement:
who told you this lie? undecided

Mine that have been using for more than 4yrs with little or no repairs undecided

Firman that the fake is all over than the original!
You can't even differentiate fake firman from the original, and even authorised seller are replacing the original with fake.

I have used both of them and I still stand on the point that Firman is better than thermocool in every aspect. When it's time for repairs on your thermocool, that is when your lamentations will start because you won't get their parts. Concerning the fake/original palava, Buyers should buy from authorized dealer or buy from their website.. Every part of firman is engraved with Firman so it's easy to spot the fakes.
