dermmy:LordAdam suggested that the Captains of these vessels are being paid a MINIMUM of $100K/month plus BONUSES. The crews could be getting about $30-50K/month plus BONUSES. That's a LOT of money. Plus, Iran is NOT trying to kill them. Iranian ATTACKS on the vessels have been NON-LETHAL so far. They just SHOOT to DISABLE the vessels. They TAKE OUT the engines. Which is STEWPID if you ask me. Iran's actions in the Strait does NOT establish DETERRENCE. It just makes transit MORE EXPENSIVE. And for WEALTHY nations like the Gulf Countries, MORE EXPENSIVE is barely an INCONVENIENCE. Lagos is the SMALLEST state in Nigeria and ONLY a fool would discount its place in Nigeria. Plus, Enugu is LARGER than Anambra. Enugu is LARGER than Ekiti. Enugu is LARGER than Akwa Ibom. And as I pointed out earlier, it's LARGER than Lagos State. In terms of population, Enugu is more POPULOUS than Adamawa, Taraba, Yobe, Kwara, Kogi, Osun, Cross River, Ekiti, Gombe, Bayelsa and ABUJA. So what's your POINT? Fact is Enugu is likely one of the TOP 10 states in Nigeria overall. And when it comes to the STABILITY of power supply, Enugu is DEFINITELY in TOP 5 at least. Also, these middle-eastern Muslim countries are supremely DISGRACEFUL and DISGUSTING! ILLsrael has been committing a BRUTAL GENOCIDE in Gaza for nearly 3 FULL YEARS. And NONE of them has sent Military Aids to HELP Gaza. Some of them WON'T even condemn ILLsrael in public. ONLY person that has TRIED to do something is IRAN. And they ALL treat Iran with DISDAIN. This is why the West is PANICKING about China and Russia. China is the LARGEST economy in the WORLD based on Purchasing Power Parity. And Russia is the LARGEST in Europe. Even WITHOUT the PPP adjustments, Russia is still the FOURTH-LARGEST economy in Europe and still in the TOP 10 in the ENTIRE world. This is despite being at war for nearly half a DECADE.
