If u r are abused and insulted in ur place of work the first day, till the 10th month, will u resign?
U don't just pack and leave cos u r i have a toxic workplace, so is marriage, marriahe can never be bed of roses. They r some families that have everything yet no child, they still stick together hoping...
They r some that no joy interrms of money but they r pushing..
In marriage u try all possible avenues to see if it will work before throwing the towel.
I know its not always easy when things like this prop up, but as a man u need to explore all avenues before jumping into conclusion.
And the statement that one should forbid any woman raised by a single mom is not fact.
There r so many ladies out there who were raised by single mom and they are all doing well with their families.
When u pick the wrong person, even if dem born am and raised her in a cathedral, she go be a torn in the flesh for u.

Of course, there is always an exception. However, in truth, children raised by a single parent are not balanced psychologically. There is a reason two should raise a child; for balance. I trust the OP knows what he is saying. I have seen this play out severally. There is always a void/emptiness and hidden anger somewhere in them. Not like there can't be a solution, but you must be Graced to survive such spouse!!

Your last statement made sense though. But I've recently been with this girl that has a brother and both are currently being raised by their single mother.
Though she would tell me she's a feminist, I've tried to see her act awkward but she's gradually proving she's not the girl I'm expecting from her background.

Better run....@feminist. Trust me you don't want to go that path

Why does the society see men hitting women as bad thing but women cursing and abusive as normal.

A woman who curses and abuses you will still have the nerve to ask you for money.

Am not a perfect man.....I have my flaws but I am careful with words because I no what bad words can do to people

Should a man be forced to stay with a woman who curses, abuse and threaten to get him arrested if he touch her despite you have never lay a finger on her in 3yrs of marriage.

People are telling me she doing it due to anger that she doesn't mean it......am told to avoid making her angry and is that possible.
She gets me angry most times but I just leave the house and go cool off...
I have tried to teach her the act of keeping quiet in moment of anger but she never learns

She permitted to rain curses and abuses on me because she a woman and am expected not to react because that how most women behave.

At this junction have made up my mind to divorce her.....I never wished for this but I can't take this ...... many people see this character of most women as normal (am told there power is in the mouth) but I can't.

Lastly men please avoid women raised by single mother they come with venom and naturally demage psychological...they will take revenge on you for there father sins.

Buzz me let's talk.

BITTER TRUTH.
IF YOU REALLY WANT TO ACHIEVE YOUR DREAMS JOIN US NOW.

Honestly I have not seen a sensible post from any of the staff of Elyte. NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY FOR THE EMBARRASSMENT FACED WHEN ASKED TO PAY 5K WITHOUT NOTIFICATION! You are getting these levels of complaint on your company and all you can do is abuse, being arrogant and ignoring these valid questions.

Nobody is saying you should not charge 5k or 10k or 30k. Most complaints here are about TELLING PEOPLE AT THE OUTSET THAT THEY WILL BE ASKED TO PAY 5K IF SELECTED.

Is that not honourable enough? How many people can you all abuse here.
How many claims can you all defend. The people are your "customers" and if majority have a problem with your modus operandi, should you sit down to think? Gush!!!!

Nobody has typed inhere that entrepreneur is bad. Neither is training bad. Or have they nagged about forcing them. Read between the complaints - something does not add up.

TELL YOUR MANAGEMENT THAT IF THEY REALLY CARE ABT THEIR FIRM, COME OUT CLEAN AND LISTEN TO THE COMPLAINT AND ADJUST.

5K IS NOT THE PROBLEM! JUST LET PPL KNOW THAT THEY WILL BE PAYING 5K. SIMPLE

CLAIMING TO BE AN ENTREPRENEUR COMPANY BUT LACK COMMON RULES OF PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT IS QUESTIONABLE.

THIS IS MORE THAN REPUTATIONAL DAMAGE.

All of you defending this company are just Dumb Mehn... eewww lipsrsealed
Questions are being asked you can’t give solid answers , all you can do is abuse and insults, call people poor, say they were sacked, it’s like y’all don’t know how you all look like undecided undecided All of you look wretched !!!!!
I even saw one lady that used pin to hold her trousers, all of your men with oversized suits , even your MD his Ankara underarm looks faded
You all don’t look better than everyone that came for that interview.. I hope that is clear enough

Now to the questions asked
1) Do you give 30 people jobs every week?
2) why don’t you have the name of the company written boldly anywhere ?
3) why is your bank account name different from your company’ Name ?
4) why do you lie to give people jobs but ask them to pay 5k before they get it ?
5) after paying 5k , why do you still request for another money for businesses?!
6 ) you are into skincare and agriculture right ? Give us names of company you established or mentored
7) why is there no office for RMD in your organization
8 )why can’t applicants talk to themselves after the interview and 10hours training ??
9) why do you delay people for 10 good hours without even allowing them take water ??
10) why cant you just give people jobs then , they can pay the materials anytime? Why do you make it compulsory? Even if they don’t have the money , you asked them to pay commitment fee?
11) how to intend to help people become entrepreneurs??
12)WHY DIDNT YOU SHOW THE MATERIAL YOU ARE SELLING ?? !!

If you have no answer to these questions, y’all Bleep off!!!!
Most of those applicants can feed you all! Your training is wack! You are saying what we know !! NOT EVERYONE IS STUPID! . I rest my case

You are a blessing..... Mmuah

No serious company I repeat, serious company will engage the people like these by abusing, arguing and trying to defend with no proof. By engaging ppl like this on Nairaland, it speaks a lot about the company.

Send out a press release to the general public correcting the NEGATIVE impression if you re not a SCAM. Its very simple. The questions above are too valid.....pls if you can't answer them, just rest. I wish you ppl good luck in the argument and abusing contest grin grin

I have been wondering why there are so much criticism about Elyte. True, Elyte does not act as every other organizations. If you have ever worked in a place before you will understand the normal process, you are being enticed by such organizations and you are made comfortable while you achieve nothing for yourself just experience. Many of us are and were in that situation. Imagine you working for 6yrs and you can't say this is what I have achieve. The only things I achieved was getting suits and shoes for myself. The little time I have spent here I see myself going far, I am learning something new everyday.

Elyte is an entrepreneurship firm that builds you, gives you a skill and brings out characters that you never knew you had. It also gives you a platform to build something of your own while you are working with them, something that other organizations do not support if you really understand what I am saying.

If you want to work as a Business Development Associate with Elyte, you need to have an entrepreneurial mindset. As an entrepreneur, you need to take risk. How do they know that you are a risk taker, if you can't invest in yourself. You feel you are paying for a job, rubbish. The truth about it is that you are not a risk taker, you feel you are being scammed. A company that has a building, you can access them, you can recognize its staffs anywhere, I wonder what you are being scammed of, probably your time. For those of you that couldn't pay for the material and you come here lamenting, you are not appreciative at all. Even if you couldn't pay for the material, the training you recieved should at least geared you to building something of your own or starting up something even if you do not want to work with Elyte, but because most of you came there to just see based on what you seen here, you tend to ignore every other thing you hear. I thank God for my wife, if not I would be like everyone of you here lamenting too.

May God continue to bless Elyte for this opportunity together with those who are interested to work with them.

Nobody is against any training here. Read between the lines and inform your mgt. Let ppl be aware of what they re going into. Let them know they will be paying 5k for materials simple.

Let them be transparent that's ALL. Its their business what they decide to do, but let it be stated ab initio.

Yes I work with them which I never denied because any day any time I stand with Elyte Entrepreneurship Training Centre. Well what I will just advice you to do is if you already have a job you are doing, you can bring down your cv from the internet, or if you don’t yet have a job and still looking for one, please send me a direct email of your email you always use to apply, so we block it totally from our sites and will inform the Hr department. I guess that will solve your problem. But be careful on the words you use, because defamation of character is a big sin.

What is defamation of character here. People re entitled to how they feel. Someone is telling you that you keep sending invites to them when they did not apply and they re not comfortable with it. What professionals do is to apologize about the mix up and clear it from their system.

Lets learn to take feedbacks well. If there are reason making people to believe otherwise, deal with it. For how long will you people continue to explain here? What about those who would rather inform people verbally. Elyte....pls go back to your drawing board and correct every misconception if you re really legit. Goodluck!

What do you call desperation. Firstly, can your 5k make a difference in any organization. And you were vividly told that the money was for your training materials. The first day you came, you we’re told you would be invited for a training. Now every company has their own procedures so stop comparing. Have we not once upon a time gone for trainings and seminars before that all they gave you was a book to write and a biro and we paid some ridiculous amount, well if not you, I have a several times but I never spoke ill about those seminars because I wanted to gain more knowledge. In becoming an entrepreneur there are traits one must posses which is investing in things and most importantly your knowledge. No one asked you to give the company any amount but it was clearly stated that you will be getting some materials, which is reasonable to me. If you have a library that you read to expand your knowledge then this wouldn’t be a discussion or an argument. Therefore please understand a reason first before saying anything, because the day I joined them, I know it’s their process but I can tell you today I have earned more than that money you think is a big deal. A lot of people want to succeed but not all can succeed, and people who really want knowledge can exchange anything for that.

Did anybody observe anything? Most of the people defending them just signed up on nairaland between May and June this year. Of course, the purpose is to get as many to debunk this scam discovery.

In my case, I observe the desperation of trying to get 5k from me. My friends that we all went together also observed it. I do not have to start stating what I observed here.

If Elyte is an Entrepreneurial training centre, why not state it rather than deceiving ppl that its a job for BDA. Besides, let ppl know from the outset that they will pay for a material as they come so that they do not spend 2days on training thereafter you present a cost to a material they may not like to have. Its not about if the 5k can make a difference in the organization, 5k can make a difference in some peoples lives. So don't just call it 5k.
They problem here is not about the training or the 5k, its about telling ppl what they re going into firsthand and state it in your SMS and e-mails

Elyte should be specific. Do not give people the impression that its a job when it's a training venture.

There won't be need getting ppl to sign up on nairaland to defend. Good and sincere work speaks. Let your WORK speak not EXPLANATIONS!!!

I want to believe that you went through School at least to add some knowledge to yourself or else I doubt if you actually a knowledgeable person. You come to this forum to mislead plenty Nigerian youth who are willing and open for a change in their life unlike you, and you call it SCAM. Do you even know the meaning of SCAM? Do you even know you can be tracked down to provide your evidence how you have been SCAMMED? Do you even think if this company is a SCAM company as you claimed to have evidence against the Company which you can't prove, will have a physical office, talk less of organizing sessions daily. I believe if you actually attend any of our interview session and you are qualified back to attend our training session, you will not come here to talk senselessly like this. Because the quality of our training is topnotch which is targeted at the right people who are business minded not people like you. And mind you, you can't come here and dictates how an organization should run its activities or its selection process. If you don't have the capacity to get yourself the training material so as to be part of our working force so be it. Kindly mind your business and refrain from coming here to pass out false information or else you will face consequences.

What is a SCAM? A dishonest scheme. We all know the truth. You guys are not sincere. What nonsense material. You are asking ppl to pay for materials when they don't have a job. Materials that you ppl want to sell and extort ppl...its not your fault. Its cos many ppl re unemployed that's why you ppl re doing this....I will not watch others fall for your scam...Having a physical office does not change the narratives. You guys re scamming ppl technically .... If you are not a SCAM, you will definitely have ppl on this platform to challenge me that they got a job and doing very well. I wish you guys good luck on the sales of your materials. Good luck ooo.....I thank God.

I don't have a girlfriend, all because of naija girls palava. I never wished myself experiencing that painful shît called "LOVE" so once I feel like playing I will just call a "call - Girl". They full my dm, light skinned, dark skinned, big yansh, moderate yansh all full my dm. I spent 5k on runs girls everyday, I'm a cyber guy so that money is nothing to me cos I can pile up 5k in just an hour. Sad thing. This is becoming frequent, I've tried to fight this behavior but all to no avail. The spirit in me keeps telling me go, go get her you have the money. I need to stop this.
Please advise

Having a mental reset or discipline is not enough. When we do things repeatedly, it attracts the spirit of that thing. We enter a lot of covenant most times. For cases like this, there are multiple soul ties, mixed and shared energy. You may not believe, something is drawing you always to it. You need to renounce any affiliation with you mouth repeatedly. Pray and depend on the word of God to deliver you. It has gone beyond physical. Also, stop anything that triggers sex: porn, romance videos, negative friends etc. Above all, give your life whole heartedly to Christ and see how the Holy Spirit will help you overcome.

cramjones:
Goodluck Jonathan has earned the dubious distinction of being the first president in Nigerian history to lose an election. In many ways, Jonathan was the architect of his own downfall. He made critical mistakes that turned the public and allies against him, and led them to gravitate towards the opposition. Here’s where it all went wrong:

1. Don’t cross the boss

When Nigeria emerged from 15 years of military rule in 1999, Jonathan’s Peoples Democratic party (PDP) was formed by wealthy retired generals to inherit power from the military. One of the godfathers was General Olusegun Obasanjo, who has governed Nigeria twice (between 1976-1979 and 1999-2007). Jonathan made the mistake of alienating Obasanjo; leading the general to write a public 18-page letter containing lacerating criticism of the president in December 2013. A party member likened Obasanjo’s hectoring of Jonathan to a father’s disappointment with his son.

Getting on the wrong side of Obasanjo is the political equivalent of crossing a mafia don
Rather than make peace with the 77-year-old, Jonathan’s office retaliated.

Getting on the wrong side of Obasanjo is the political equivalent of crossing a mafia don. You will pay. Obasanjo’s attacks on Jonathan intensified. In February, an irate Obasanjo quit the PDP and dramatically ripped up his party membership card on television.

Jonathan was naïve to think he could remain president without the support of PDP godfathers like Obasanjo. Although Nigeria is no longer under military rule, many retired millionaire generals call the shots from behind the scenes.

2. Playing fair
Previous Nigerian presidents were too cynical to expose themselves to the unpredictable risk of a fair election. The election victories of PDP presidents during the past 16 years have been partially “assisted” by electoral malpractice. That changed when Jonathan nominated Professor Attahiru Jega as the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (Inec) in 2010. Jega vowed to reform Nigeria’s electoral process to ensure free and fair elections.

The former university lecturer exuded calm authority and integrity. He has painstakingly prepared for the task over the past four years by studying the rigging methods used in previous elections, implementing an elaborate system of voter registration, training thousands of electoral staff, and introducing biometric readers to identify voters by reading their thumbprint.

Jonathan created the environment for the emergence of these changes and gave Jega the freedom and authority to conduct reforms that led to a credible election. But by giving Jega a free hand to play fair, he allowed Jega to craft the weapons that were used to oust him from power.

3. Boko Haram and the Chibok kidnaps

Jonathan’s relations with party members at times resembled a football coach antagonising his star players
When Boko Haram kidnapped more than 200 schoolgirls from the town of Chibok in northern Nigeria, Jonathan failed to realise how much this would capture the public’s attention, both locally and internationally. His failure to speak about the kidnap for several weeks made him appear uncaring. These shortcomings were exacerbated by the behaviour of his wife, Patience, when she met the mothers of the kidnapped girls. Her ostentatious display and over-the-top emotions were mercilessly parodied.

Jonathan’s perceived casual indifference to the suffering of his people was compounded when he was photographed celebrating his niece’s lavish wedding just a few days after Boko Haram had killed 2,000 people in the town of Baga.

4. Bad management

Jonathan’s relations with party members at times resembled a football coach antagonising his star players into leaving for rival teams. His tendency to fall out with colleagues simultaneously weakened his party and strengthened the opposition. He quarrelled with one after another; leading several of them to leave the party in frustration and join the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC). The alliance between these and the opposition shoved Jonathan out of power.

5. Corruption and cronyism
Nigerians refer to their country’s resources as the “national cake” which must be shared by its citizens. There was a perception that Jonathan gave slices of the cake largely to members of his own community. Many powerful members of his government were from Jonathan’s region in the deep south of the country. Even Jonathan’s wife was appointed as a senior civil servant in his home state of Bayelsa.

There was a perception that Jonathan gave slices of the cake largely to members of his own community
Under Jonathan’s presidency many militant leaders from the oil producing Niger Delta area in the south have become very rich from government patronage and contracts. Some of them have been awarded security contracts to guard the oil installations they once protested against and attacked.

Jonathan has also pardoned a former ally accused of fraud and money laundering, increasing the cloud of suspicion hanging over his government.

These events caused deep resentment in other parts of Nigeria and created the impression that Jonathan ran a government that benefits those from his part of the country, the south, but not many others.

Jonathan even managed to get into a public feud with the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, the respected Sanusi Lamido Sanusi. In February 2014 Sanusi alleged that $20bn of Nigerian oil revenue was unaccounted for. Rather than investigating the claims Jonathan fired Sanusi for his impertinence at publicly hinting of government fraud.

Buhari’s victory is historic and unprecedented. However Jonathan was responsible almost as much as Buhari was.

You are blessed. 3 Gbosa for you

Its not about being childish. Most ppl responses here are if she does it regularly. It is understandable that a woman may not be in the mood. but hey she has to be careful not to ''unmood'' or ''dismood'' her self always. Besides, its risky.
Marraige is all abt sacrifice. Is it everytime u wake up dat u re in the mood to go to work ?....NO. But u have to still go right? How abt if your husband says he is not in the mood to buy you tins or take u out always

The point here is moderation. For me weda or wedn't you are in the mood or not, thats wat u signed up for. Do not give room for the next door to be opened.

fellis:
God.
Men are so childish.
So your wife is not in the mood therefore run after the nearest ashawo because how dare she not be in the mood when you want sex?
How dare she?!?

Men are childish biko. If una like vex. I haven't even seen one mature response from them since I started reading.
Women will definitely try to avoid sex with you once in a while because male sex drive is typically greater than female sex drive.
They will employ strategies when trying to avoid sex because they don't want to hurt your feelings by outrightly telling you they don't want to sleep with you. Simple reasoning you kids cannot carry out.
She doesn't want sex every single time you ask so you want to start cheating immediately instead of using your head.

If your wife is the ugly type, you know fat orobo and short walking anyhow, with big tummy, no problem don't bother your head. I am sure by now the man giving her the free ride must be praying for a deliverance but if on the other hand she is a stunning beauty like the Omo Sexy's of this world hmm my brother fight for your dear wife 'cos you may wake up oneday and she is gone for good to the man you thot was just helping her with a free ride.
Enjoy

Ladies and gentlemen, i will like to ask if the woman will die of using public transport? The issue here is not about trust or insecurity on the man's part, its about what could happen. look at this:

If they spend 4 hours in traffic every day going and coming for a month=they are spending 39 days days together in a year.

the fact that they work in the same office does not matter, nothing can happen cus they might be in different department or too busy to talk, But inside the car alone?

I wont allow my wife go with a man evry day, and pls ask any man if opportunity of 'digging' a married woman they give lift happen wont they do it?
you know as women they siddon inside car, u go look yellow laps etc the guy fit misbehave. Beside your wife could develop this kind of likeness you know want for the guy. Why the guy dey call am come outside? he should be careful around another man's wife now.

prevention is better than cure

gbam! 3 gbosa for you
