I feel dismayed after reading your post. There are phases in leadership indices. A man who is hungry needs basic food first to resuscitate him first. It is when he is fully satiated that he can start looking for a five course meal.

Peter Obi met a very dysfunctional educational system. There were several schools but all in very bad state and he fixed them. Would you have wanted he go build one school when there are several school in ugly state of disrepair? He fixed all these bad schools. Government is continum and successive government is supposed to build on that but Nigerian politicians are the worst breed anywhere in this world. They are driven by ego and complex.
It's like our educational state today as a nation. Everybody wants to build a university Just to answer a name but none wants to build up existing university.

Have you travelled recently? Have you seen the state of the Benin bypass? Have your seen the state of the road just between Effurun round about and Mercy city?
I have been in these places recently. That's only when you will understand Obi's position about using the money earmarked for this coastal highway to maintain existing roads nationwide. My wife is from kogi state and she is Yoruba. Her family originated from the local government and still live there till today. Smart Adeyemi, a Yoruba man is an indigenes of kogi state, same with Dino Melaye, another Yoruba man.

They dig water well close to soakway so imagine what water is being used for processing. Especially those household prepared small-chops. Imagine the water inside.
They also wash fruit with gutter water. A known fact.

I will never eat food prepared by the average northerner. Hygiene is zero. I tried it twice and became temporary friends with my toilet.

One time I saw a Suya seller washing his fresh meat in gutter water that overflowed it's bank and flowed into the compound. I was flabbergasted!
