British Singer Adele broke her Album of the Year Grammy in half so she can give a part to Beyonce. This is coming after the Hello crooner beat Beyonce to win the Album Of The Year and said she couldn’t possibly accept the award because Beyonce is the artist of her life and Beyonce’s album, the Lemonade album, was just so monumental. The British star is now the first person to win Grammys Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, and Song Of The Year twice. Donald Trump on friday stated that he is considering signing a “brand new” executive order on immigration, following the U.S Federal Appeals court ruling blocking his travel ban on Thursday. Trump who spoke to reporters while aboard the Air force One plane on his way to Florida express his displeasure on the appeals court ruling. When asked whether he is going to appeal the court decision by taking the case to the supreme court. He said: “We also have a lot of other options, including just filing a brand new order. We are going to consider adding several set of individuals in our new travel ban. We would consider banning politicians from Africa that have stole their people's money or have legal financial crime charges against them especially politicians from Nigeria, Gabon, Guinea and Uganda. We want to let the world know that America is not a place where you come and hide stolen property or where you come and invest stolen money meant for the poor masses. If you UK and Europe are letting then in we are not going to let them here. They should take care of their country and people. America don't need such people here. When asked if he meant a new executive order, he said: “It very well could be. We need speed for reasons of security, so it very well could be.” Trump said that he would probably act next Monday or Tuesday. When asked what revisions the new order would entails , he said: “New security and financial crimes measures. when asked if he would appeal the first order he said. “The temporary restraining order, we would not take to the supreme court, but we are reviewing all options in the court system,” the official was quoted as saying. As much as Donald Trump is despised, he does have the unusual trait among politicians of fulfilling his campaign pledges. Plans are at advanced stages to repeal ‘Obamacare’. This week he will be signing an executive order to start building the Mexican border wall, and he has already gotten the United States out of unfavourable trade deals. One of his biggest campaign promise was to crack down on illegal immigration. It may just be his first week in office, and already action has started been taken. Yesterday, at least 95 Somali nationals and 2 Kenyans landed at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport escorted by American security officers, according to the Star . The nearly 100 individuals were deported reportedly for being in the US illegally. The were sent home via an Omnia international plane – an American charter airline based out of Oklahoma. The Somali nationals were then flown to Mogadishu via Juba Airways. It is estimated that there are more than 30,000 Kenyans in the US illegally. Most of these followed the right procedure to get to the ‘land of the free’, but refused to return home once their visas expired. The United States hosts about 11 million illegal immigrants, representing 3.5% of the total US population. Nearly half of these are Mexicans, which was the main reason for Trump’s statements towards their Southern neighbour. Though deportations are expected to rise exponentially during the Trump presidency, it is highly unlikely he will even scratch the surface. Sending people back to their home countries is a really expensive exercise, even for America. As Obama once told a reporter at the White House that it would cost hundreds of billions. “The notion that we’re gonna deport 11, 12 million people from this country – first of all, I have no idea where Trump thinks the money’s gonna come from. It would cost us hundreds of billions of dollars to execute that,” he said. So, you probably shouldn’t expect Trump to charter a plane for your uncle who has been in the US for suspiciously long. It could still happen sooner or later. http://abujaeye.com/donald-trump-deports-2-kenyans-30000-more-at-risk/t |
